That's what my OH has just said Smudgie, he comes across as very snobby.

People don't even send abuse directly to his twitter, he searches for mentions of himself

Mainly just because of his voice

He seems a pretty funny and nice guy... and given the amount of backlash against him after You're Beautiful (the radio and media's fault for overplaying, btw, not his) I think it's pretty fair to become a bit jaded

Sorry to be serious but most of them aren't @ing him though, he's purposefully going after them searching for tweets about himself (kind of sad) and then calling them 'trolls' when they're just giving their opinions on him which is fine

If it's personal abuse at him, then fair enough, most of them are just generally stating an opinion without ever thinking he'd see it

Maybe people are quoting tweets that mention him and including him in the tweet so he's responding directly.

Don't understand why he gets so much hate either, he's a talented musician who makes good songs :shrug:

It's a free world though, and some people think he sucks, which is fair enough too, and in alot of the tweets he gets that is the gist of the tweet
