Looks a bit out of his depth
 

Evander looked a bit uncomfortable in tonight's show :( hope he settles in and comes out of his shell a bit.

..I think he was also paired with the wrong person..(which is probably the point..)..and Luisa has no idea how to make conversation with him....

Yeah they have nothing in common at all by the looks of it, there was a couple of pretty uncomfortable silences between them in some of the clips we were shown.

There will be a strange connection with them.. no acting up to the cameras or anything but they'll get on well with their awkward moments.

They seemed alright today tbh

I think he'll chill out once the cuffs come off.

It looks like the producers wanted him with Luisa to cause some drama but that failed. I think some of the pairings are odd anyway.

Hopefully when this 'twist' ends he will become more comfortable and mingle a bit better with the others.

Plus I think he was very jet lagged, looked tired.

Yes I think the poor sod is a tad punch drunk, but seems an ok fella

Luisa is a strange one.

I think he'll be even more quiet once the handcuffs are off...Luisa's like a security blanket at the moment for him not being alone. I can't imagine people wanting to go out and speak to him if they saw him alone cause things sometimes get a little awkward.

Cant be doing with her, never heard of her before BB ,and hope she drifts back to where she came from soon

She was on the Apprentice and came 2nd. She is fairly hard faced.

Have to say I have my doubts that she will bring much to the house overall.

He seemed to open up a bit towards the end of the highlights.

Think his plan was : go in - sit it out in the corner - get paid.

I guess the handcuff thing is a good way to get everybody involved but must be annoying as fck if you and your partner are polar opposites.

Ive never watched the show, but shes not my type I only like one female in there this year ,and thats Linda

he looked very uncomfortable and it appears like he doesn't want to be there. whether he was just jetlagged or he doesn't know how to make conversation with luisa, I don't know :laugh:.

Like a few of them this year Joey ,not much to give ,hope im proved wrong and it turns into a good series ,but too many young slapper types

He should have been handcuffed to Lee or Dappy. He'd have enjoyed that more. To pair him with that sort from the Apprentice was never gonna work in his favour tbh.

He relaxed a bit towards the end really, I think it was just first night, he's new to the show, he has no idea, when he was talking about Mike he was fine, couple more days to adjust, I don't think the cuffs help his cause.

That moment they both sat down in silence together was hilarious :joker:

I strangely like his & Luisa's interactions, It makes me laugh

He seems like a nice guy but a bit awkward so far, I think we'll see more of him by the end.

..I think that the nature of celebs in general is that they're quite self absorbed/egos etc..so they don't really ask about each other and their careers/lives etc so much and I think Evander needs that and would be really interesting if she was to ask him stuff...I also think that his world of 'celebrity' is completely different to hers and quite a few of the rest of them so he's probably a bit dazed about it all atm...I do hope that he stays for a while and we get to see and hear more of him though, I think he's probably one of the most interesting CBB housemates ever...potentially...
