Tonight's show proved what some of us were saying the other evening...

That it's one rule for men and another for women when it comes to discussions of sex. I know Niamh has created a thread but after Lionel's discussion of deep-throating and clits where's the multiple page debates like we had in two threads the other night after Jasmine talked about 'finger blasting'?

Similarly, where's the outrage over Dappy's continuing references and descriptions of his big cock? What about his instigation of tonight's action in the bathroom? Where's the wailing over Lee egging Dappy on before he got into the bath with the girls too?

Why such a big outcry over a small conversation Jasmine had whilst intoxicated on the first night but only little mentions about sober conversations of a similar ilk had by male housemates? :conf: just as we thought, double standards

It was nice kind of felt like the old BB days where you would see things like that

You have a point Jack, but I think it's because Jasmine is also pretty which will hurt her, and it's gonna be the same for HM's like Lee and Ollie, they make one mistake and the jealous guys/girls will go for them and never forgive them for one odd comment or action.

Maybe it's more expected from men?

I was seriously going to reply in depth to this post then halfway through I thought why...........it would only give you a platform to start bashing again so I though no, I will leave it and let someone else feed your habit. Oh, for the record, there is neither bias nor favouritism on either side, that lives firmly in your head \jack.

Northern Monkey 07-01-2014 12:30 AM

Those girls in that hot tub,Such sluts!I found Dappy funny though.......JK,I agree,I could'nt believe when Lionel started talking about reading the Deep Throating book after his outrage at fingerbanggate.

Mystic Mock 07-01-2014 12:32 AM

Lionel the dirty old perv.

Yes I'm joking about being a hypocrite.

Kizzy 07-01-2014 12:40 AM

Lionel was only shocked it was a lass talking like that, his convo about deep throat was ridiculous...clit in her throat? silly old fool.

So you're saying that Lionel is sexist?

Lister of Smeg 07-01-2014 12:52 AM

There certainly is a double standard when sex is the topic of conversation however In some cases I dont necessarily think its a bad thing I think young girls should have more respect for themselves than to sleep around and indulge in all manner of sordid behaviour.

Well I wouldn't want to suggest he's sexist however I do feel that his eyebrows wouldn't have had to be rescued from the ceiling if a bloke had said what jasmine did the other night.
As we have seen he's not adverse to crude discussions as he has been present and contributed in them since.

..yeah, I totally agree..it always seems to be 'less acceptable' when it's a female saying/acting in a certain way and what I personally don't like is that it's not just that they are criticised more, they are also referred to as '*****' etc and I particularly hate that when it's said by other females as well....

As you say there is already a thread on it, I don't really see why your point is any more valid than any of those made on Niamh's thead that it required a separate one?

Yes there is, plus there is a thread slating last nights HLs and plenty people supported Jasmine on thread about her conversation as well, so this is all a bit hysterical in my view.

Too right Cherie :hmph:

lol but yeah, absolute sexism/double standards there. I actually agreed with lionel that Jasmine was horribly crude but I'm more disgusted with how outraged he got when he was clearly only outraged because she was a woman saying it and he has no problem speaking in a similar way himself. I know people are saying Oh it's a generational thing blah blah blah, but only a superior arsehole will have the attitude and vocalise that attitude of "I can say what i want but if a woman says it she's disgusting" to the HMs and the whole viewing public. It makes me so angry and I'm sorry but age should not be accepted as an excuse for that.
