Why are all relationships in the house based on looks?
 

I know I am fighting against centuries of love and lust, but it irks when whenever anybody goes in the BB house, it's the good looks that attract people to people, despite either person being a liar or a cheat.

I know that happens in life, but you'd think on live TV celebs especially wouldn't exhibit this flaw in human nature for all to see.

I think Casey is a lovely woman, and is better looking than Jasmine. I know people will disagree with me but there you go.

The fact she went straight sexually for Lee (although they were chained together but still), was based purely on his appearance.

That's the advantage good looking guys have over ugly men. Good looking guys can be a cheat, a liar, a true ****, but women ignore the person and go straight for the looks.

Average looking guys have to work hard to win the love or attention of women. Guys like Lee just have to stand there and do nothing, and women are like flies round a lump of ***t.:joker: Literally.:shocked:

I think it's all subjective. I don't think Lee is good looking, he's just average to my eye. Casey seems to think he's very attractive.

So i don't understand your point when you say average looking guys have it tough, cause Lee is average looking imo. I think it's his confidence that attracts certain women, nothing to do with looks.

If he was a sour puss, and wasn't out going, if he was withdrawn and insecure do you really think he would be getting this attention from the girls? I don't think so. It's his attitude, not his looks, that makes him attractive to the girls.

He's not a classic male beauty by any stretch of the imagination. If he lived during ancient roman times, no one would be carving his likeness out of marble.

Let's put it this way. If someone like Alan Carr was straight and you put him in a bar with a load of women and you put Lee in that bar too, who do you think would easily score that night?

It's always looks that attract people. Do you think Jasmine would have so many followers if she were 35 stone?

Good looking people do not have to work at anything, but I feel sorry for Casey.

to be fair, i think we've all ****ed a lot of uglies before. I don't think beauty has much to do with it when it comes to sex, sometimes it's just what you can get!

I don't think anyone really has a problem getting laid, usually it's only ugly guys that want to be with hot chicks that claim they can't get laid. If you lower your standards, anyone can get laid.

..hmm, I think it can work both ways though...people who are perceived as 'good looking' can also be judged harshly in certain areas as well..almost dismissed as 'superficial people..'...but with physical attraction then yeah, by definition there has to be something to physically attract two people in the first instance but then beyond that initial thing, it does come down to character etc...

as your drink count goes up so does their looks.

probably because they haven't really had chance to get to know each other properly at first they just base it on looks. it's also probably why bb relationships never work out too :laugh:.

some do though... jeff and jordan, brendan and rachael, jay and louise.

Those arn't your normal women all 3 or 4 seem to be very shallow anyway.
people tend to go for looks when they want a bit of fun but when it comes to a proper relashionship the less good looking/ugly people seem to do better.

The good looking guy will pull the hot blond in the pub on a friday night but i bet when the girl walks down the aisle one day the guy she ends up with will be average looks fat belly and fat ass lol

If Lee Ryan wasn't in a boy band he would struggle to get a woman, he has the face of a weasel and very ferrety eyes.

Because 99% of relationships in that house are purely superficial and a way of trying to get ahead of the media game when they get out so they're just going to go for someone who's physically attractive

End of the day,Sexual attraction is what creates most relationships,Me and misses EyeballPaul would never have got together if we did'nt fancy the pants off each other in the first place,Love comes later from spending so much time together.We look for a mate with genes that we find acceptable for procreation,It's just that some people find they don't get on so well later on,But the attraction has to be there(well apart from those weird internet relationships lol)

As much as people don't want to hear it... when you look at someone you like them because of their looks, especially if you don't know who they are. It's ALWAYS about looks, it's only when getting to know people where it can change.

Most of the house relationships are based on looks, but Emilia and Jeremy from Celeb Hijack IMO was not, it was based on personality... it doesn't take a genius to find out that Emilia was so much better looking than Jeremy, but it's because they got to know each other... they didnt have a relationship really, but a lot of flirting.

That's the problem with BB and CBB now when it comes to romances, it's all fake anyway, they're sharing beds before they even have a conversation almost and then they're stuck in the house with eachother after that when they discover they have nothing to actually talk about and have no spark, that's all well and good in the real world when you can just go home lol Gone are the proper BB romance days of Helen and Paul :love:

Jasmine is far better looking but both of the girls are nymphomaniacs haha. Im not complaining though I think no matter what our views are there is plenty happening in the first few days of the show, in fact more than has happened in entire series of previous Celeb Big bros

When it comes to people like Jasmine, Lee and Casey... they're all shallow people. We all know what Lee is like, and he's displaying it for all to see if you didn't already know. Jasmine has had plastic surgery [and not for medical reasons] so she's obviously shallow.. and I'd like to say 'Casey is famous for' ... but unfortunately nobody seemed to even know who she is/was... however, apparently she is a model.. model=shallow. Fact.

So, it's always going to be about looks rather than substance with people like that, and BB has a bad habit of selecting the most narcissistic HMs.

For me, I have to be physically attracted to the other person, but they need a personality to match. Some people are shallow and go purely off looks, and then cry when they let them down.

I hope Casey doesn't cry for sympathy when she realises what Lee is up to.. she should have enough common sense and self-respect to know the score tbh.
