1.51am: Luisa has finally left the Diary Room after a long heart-to-heart with Big Brother. It's been a long, emotional evening

erinp5 11-01-2014 01:02 AM

'I want the young ones here because it's like living in an old folk home' that's what upset Lionel.

Scream 11-01-2014 01:03 AM

I'm sure Lionel would be the first to say he'd rather live with the older ones. He's so annoying. He's the only one that is staring to piss me off.

I feel that way about Luisa .

He has some hypocritical traits that are rather annoying.

Jim should tell Linda about the menopause comment Luisa made about her .I doubt she would cuddle Luisa and be so understanding .

Kizzy 11-01-2014 01:30 AM

She's always making silly ageist comments like that, I'm stunned she was picked for the apprentice, she's so juvenile.

Lowkey 11-01-2014 01:33 AM

Like I said before. She can dish it out but can't take it. Watch her play the victim.

Jords 11-01-2014 01:33 AM

I understand the OAPs point of view.

Brother Leon 11-01-2014 01:34 AM

That Ageism there. Good on Lionel speaking up.

In a nutshell.

jet 11-01-2014 01:40 AM

I can understand Lionel being upset whether Luisa meant it as a joke or not. He's 82 after all and fitting in well. It can't be easy being 82 in a house full of people 20 - 60 years younger. He's a game old boy with a young spirit.

This is exactly why I think she has a superiority complex. She cannot understand why other people could possibly comprehend her as being anything other than her perfect self. She doesn't understand why people hate her or misinterpret her, it's their problem, not hers, she knows what she means so why don't other people? Then when she's called out on one of her flaws, she completely loses her cool and can't handle the criticism at all. She absolutely meant what she said but she didn't even for a second think about how that could possibly offend other people, and when it did, she couldn't comprehend why anyone was getting upset with her - which then upset her in turn. She's ridiculous. Just like Lee. No self awareness.

Well said!

She should have just appologised as soon as she realised she'd been offensive,That would've defused the whole argument.

Should have... but, if I'm right in my judgment of her, it's not in her nature to apologise, because Luisa cannot accept that she could have made a mistake. Even her apologies aren't even worded in a way that admits error on her behalf - she's sorry that people are upset with her; she isn't sorry that they are upset. She's sorry that people have a problem with her, she's not sorry for the problem.

Yeah,I think you maybe right there.

Z 11-01-2014 02:17 AM

I do have to say though... being unapologetic for who you are and what you think is a quality that gets a person far in life; no wonder she was on The Apprentice, she's got the kind of personality that allows her to have complete confidence in her decisions. That's an admirable quality to possess, I think, even if in situations like this, it lands her in trouble.

Kizzy 11-01-2014 02:18 AM

She misinterprets her own rudeness as 'real' and 'honest' opinions, but is so quick to point it out in others.
She turned on the waterworks tonight as she realised she was in the wrong, but instead of being adult and apologising for upsetting lionel she reacted with childish bewilderment.... daft tart.

Luisa and Dappy seem to be competing for the title of Most Obnoxious Housemate! Lol! ;)

:worship: Definitely how I see it as well. I'm glad we're getting something else to talk about other than Lee's sleazing, it was getting a bit boring. I think Luisa's going to attract a lot of hatred.

It is ONE way of looking at it. Perhaps she is frustrated that she is not understood by other people. A person with many ideas coming into their head may find it difficult to choose one, focus on it and communicate it. She may not even know she is perceived as having a Superiority Complex. Simply reflects and has the attitudes of her parents and friends. Going outside of that group she finds that she is not understood. We think we hear words we understand but how sure are we that her meaning is correctly communicated.
Perhaps when you say she is not handling criticism something else like frustrations of being misunderstood is what is actually being shown.

I make this deduction based on the way she must have in her business life handled failure as a learning process to adjust it to success.
