Are Ollie and Sam keeping their heads down on purpose?

I've discussed this a couple of times now but do you think Sam and Ollie are keeping quiet because they're so used to being filmed all the time? They are both famous for being on scripted reality TV shows and being filmed for their "real responses to every day life" - perhaps they went in with a strategy of keeping quiet at first to see what happened with the other housemates and quickly realised that the others are all fairly terrible people and have decided to have nothing to do with them, not get involved in any of their arguments and just hoped to come out of it looking great because everyone else would do a hatchet job on themselves?

Yes I believe they are, avoid nomination and hope their fan base will vote like crazy in the final Sam was horrified when lee almost nommed her

They're as much fun as watching paint dry. :joker:

If sam can win civilian bb last summer remember him so can this sam eh:(

Sadly it will probably work for one of them, although Jim has overtaken Sam in the to win betting.

..I don't know if they're doing it on purpose or more just genuinely don't want to get involved in the confrontations....I don't know much about Sam but Ollie has never seemed like someone who likes arguments/bad feelings etc....

Bland, bland, bland, safe, safe, safe, boring, boring, boring!

Yup I think so. Given their job, they know exactly how to act. They are used to being filmed, so keeping up a facade for a few weeks is a piece of piss.

Who knows what they're doing or saying, it's impossible to see past the massive egos. Ollie makes me laugh when you do get to see him but they're being overshadowed.

I dont understand how Ollie has such a big fanbase tbh. I normally dislike people saying others only like someone for their looks(as much as I dislike people saying others dislike someone coz they are jealous..), but in his case I actually cant see any other reason? He has done nothing

Surely they know by now that it works on BB to be quiet and sail through to the final.

But maybe they are just naturally a bit quiet.

They both seem nice but if the BB house was always full of nice, quiet types then the ratings would drop and there would be no BB at all

Controversial characters are what make BB a success

That's why sadly Liz must go tonight and the other 3 big characters must stay

SAVE THE BIG CHARACTERS AND SAVE THE SHOW !!

I genuinely think it's because most of the other housemates are completely unlikeable and the British public likes to support people en masse who they would like to be friends with. It doesn't matter how many brilliantly entertaining housemates there are in any given series, the winner's always such a beige, bland result, isn't it? There's always a huge star who makes it far and is all that people are talking about but the winner never really deserves it from an entertainment point of view. Rachel (Rex), Anthony (Makosi), Pete (Nikki), Nadia (Victor)... I reckon the only way we'd get rid of Sam or Ollie is if they were both up and they were up against Jim. Can't see any other way where we'd lose them... unless we're all overestimating their support.

I think they're both naturally quiet people but I also think they're more than aware of how to look good on camera and I think they've both chosen to not get involved in any of the drama in the house in order to sneak into the final under the radar. Just hope neither of them wins, it would be a travesty.

I would go with this, as I know it happens...but...he had a huge fanbase from the very beginning. From people I really doubt watch made in chelsea or whichever one it is hes from. The rest hadnt shown themselves to be unlikeable twats at that point

Yeah it's weird... maybe people could just tell he was a nice guy? Some people just look nice/inoffensive. In fact, can we stop using the word nice to describe Sam and Ollie and call them inoffensive instead?

They are both like a pair of mannequins sat in a shop window, pretty but they don't do ****** all...

It'll be interesting to see just who is supported this week.
