wheres a good place to go on holiday?

somewhere sunny with good beaches

but nowhere boring like spain/france ..I was thinking of Tenerife or Cyprus or something

Niamh. 16-01-2014 09:26 AM

Croatia is really nice

Cherie 16-01-2014 09:28 AM

Depends what you are looking for in a holiday, if you want to lie by the pool/eat lots and sleep then anywhere hot including Spain and France will do (as to my mind you could be anywhere if you are just lying by the pool/on the beach). If you want nightlife then Ibiza, Ayia Napa (Cyprus), Los Americanos (Tenerife) will do nicely, not sure what the nightlife is like in Turkey as I have never been. If you want a bit of culture go to Greece. If you want shops go to Dubai.

Even if you're not fused so much on the nightlife if you go outside the main places in Ibiza (Ibiza Town and San Antonio) they're some quieter spots with really great beaches

Yeah Croatia is a good shout, never been but a few of my friends who just like beach holidays where they do nothing all day working on their tan always bang on about the place

Vanessa 16-01-2014 09:34 AM

Italy has nice beaches. :amazed:

Saph 16-01-2014 09:55 AM

It was a few years ago now when I went so i can't remember exactly but It's probably not as cheap as a Spanish package holiday but I don't think it was crazy expensive either

Vanessa 16-01-2014 10:12 AM

I think Spain is cheaper.

Samm 16-01-2014 03:27 PM

Munchkins 16-01-2014 03:30 PM

Why do people go on holidays just to lie on beaches :') i like to explore i suppose :p

MeMyselfAndI 16-01-2014 03:36 PM

smeagol 16-01-2014 05:18 PM

Afghanistan , plenty of sand.and cheap and no tourists lol

Crimson Dynamo 16-01-2014 05:52 PM

Why do people ant to lie flat on vile sandy and mostly windy beaches full of plebs?

I just dont get it. You dont need to do that.

I would go to Florence and inhale some culture

Ammi 16-01-2014 06:25 PM

..what about Portugal or one of the Greek islands, Saph..?...I think the cost can be quite reasonable as well....

Benjamin 16-01-2014 06:28 PM

Saph, when are you looking to get going, and what is your budget?

Z 16-01-2014 06:36 PM

I liked Malta; nice mix of being able to laze around and go explore - BUT the beaches are pebbles/rocky, dunno if that'd put you off or not
