Linda : Drama Addict

She has been dead set on one mission since before she even entered the BB house - to create an argument with Jim

When he hasn't taken her bait and walked away - she blames him for that!

Then when he is out of earshot - she tries to turn everyone against him.

She blew up thinking he called her an a-hole (which he didn't) yet she has made all kinds of accusations against his character, calling him all sorts of names, even though he does his best to keep away from her and make light of the situation when he does talk to her.

Then when she can't make an argument with him - she creates one out of thin air - just as she did yesterday over his totally casual conversation with Luisa

Finally she has broken him down and now she has got the gold nugget she has been looking for since day one - she has got him to finally say something that she can leap all over and play the victim card. No doubt she will ride that til the bitter end.

It's just what Denise Welsh did with Michael Madsen, pushing constantly for a row and when Michael lay on the bed trying to avoid conflict - she acted all hurt about that and tried to turn the house against him.

I think it's an addiction with some people to always have a drama in their life and to have someone else to blame for their own inner turmoil.

BUT - however upset Linda was about the Frank Carson comment she STILL found time and (i believe) took some delight in being the person to tell Casey the upsetting news all about what Lee had said about her gameplaying !

Drama addict. If it's not her own drama - it's stirring up other people's.

Not nice.

She's an emotional wreck.

Yes Robodog she did seem to relish telling Casey about Lee.

Yes, a truly awful woman. Bitter, nasty & argumentative, just like that other vile Nolan, Colleen...

Do you agree Jim lied outright several times, called Linda a loony, and tried to blame Lusia for telling Linda when he asked her too?

HBB1508 17-01-2014 01:55 PM

She is the epitomy of bitter and twisted - shame we can't kick her out tonight.

Kizzy 17-01-2014 01:58 PM

Shhhh, that does not count. He is allowed to be slagged off because he is a bad man, booooooo. In reality, I think everyone deep down knows where the blame lies and it aint with anyone that can stand and pee.

I should do one for all the negative threads about linda...
I might bold a few REALLY offensive comments in them too, you know like sexual assault jokes, they're hilarious!

Jordan. 17-01-2014 04:12 PM

The Jim threads actually have a point to them. 80% of Linda threads are just childish name calling.

Z 17-01-2014 04:16 PM

How many people here actually support Linda and how many people here are just jumping on a chance to rip into Jim? There's nothing wrong with the latter, the guy has an awful past and while I don't choose to let that influence my opinions of the house, I wouldn't judge anyone else for choosing to let that make their mind up - but I don't see the point in pretending to like Linda when really you just hate Jim?

I don't think many people are pretending to like Linda, Zee. Most people are just sympathizing with her. I'm not fond of her myself but I give her a bit of a pass because she's had a hard time. She watched her husband and sister die of cancer and she went through the harrowing treatment for it herself.
She is obviously menopausal as she is always having hot flushes and fanning herself. Even as a man  I know how emotionally all over the place and sensitive women can be when their hormones are running amok, and I'm not being patronizing here I hope: it's the truth.
Personally, if I was dealing with her sniping at me, I wouldn't take opportunities to have my own snipes at her. I certainly wouldn't make comments like 'have another vat of wine dear' on several occasions to wind her up. Not sure what he has on her there, but as he is an alcoholic it was pretty strange.
They are each as bad as each other (though I believe Jim is worse now) and to be honest I take her side more because of what I have written above and because I don't like what he used to be (and could still be, as none of us knows him personally) nor do I like him in the house. I see him as arrogant, manipulative and miserable. I don't like how he deals with situations and his recent lying and trying to shift the blame.

I hope this answers your question and makes sense.
