oh so a series of thefts then, not just a one off interesting.

Kizzy 17-01-2014 10:54 PM

They didn't want this discussed tonight at all.... It had nothing to do with linda but her deceased ex husband. Jim was a class A nob for bringing it up no matter how linda annoyed him.

Kizzy 17-01-2014 11:17 PM

'Offensive! Who me?' an article by Paula Thompson is very interesting.
Notably for outing jim as a tax dodger, but that's not really theft is it?..

Josy 18-01-2014 09:23 AM

Interesting.

Not quite the picture Linda painted to Lee is it.

And stealing from charity is awful.

Disagree! He had to do something to shut her up. Just imagine if you had to work with someone like her, constantly slagging you to anyone who will listen.
serves her right!

Kizzy 18-01-2014 10:35 AM

Personally I don't feel what he did was right or fair regardless of what she'd done.

Patricia4 18-01-2014 10:46 AM

Interesting reading.

'Constantly slagging'? Talk about hyperbole and exaggeration. Did you see this with your own eyes or are you just following the party line?
I seen a few instances of Linda getting at him and a few instances of Jim getting at her. 'Constant' - no. They are in the house 24 hours a day and the HL's show only what they want you to see for the ratings.

Something that is conveniently overlooked is that Jim talks over Linda all the time. It has been said on several occasions by the HM's that she will be chatting to the group and Jim interrupts, dismissing her as if she doesn't exist. That is every bit as bad as sniping at someone, if not worse.
Any Jim fans like to confess that they heard the HM's say this?

No need for it to have been brought up only was to devastate Linda

:worship: All true as Ive said IM sure linda has lots of things on Jim,he wouldnt want broadcasting, but shes kept them to herself, whos the bigger person ?

muchadoaboutnothing 18-01-2014 11:06 AM

Having read the true sequence of events, I'm actually glad Jim brought it up. Linda considering herself to be Miss Goody Two Shoes and constantly digging at Jim deserved to feel Jim's wrath.

It was Linda who brought up the incident first by talking about the time she had Jim thrown out of a club if she didnt want it bringing up why run about like a vile old trout faced hag telling people about part of the incident but not the real story.

She brought it on herself and Jim had every right to tell people the whole story if she was using part of the story to try and make him look bad.

Another 'she brought it on herself' post.
Funny when I got a slap my ex said that...
She did get him thrown out of a club that was true, how that explains why jim exposed the incident to 'win' an argument I don't know.

flamingGalah! 18-01-2014 11:23 AM

Even worse than first thought, he stole lots of money over a period of time, including from a charity! What a dispicable man, dead or not :nono:

And why shouldn't Jim bring it up?? It seems it is the reason for her dislike of Jim... And Jim wouldn't care less if she brought up his PAST, he is very open & frank about his mistakes & past demons & can admit it, unlike lying old trout Linda who LIED to Lee making out her husband was innocent! :nono:

My ex husband was the same, and he always thought it was ok to bully women too ,and as you say was quick to say "You brought it on "I wasnt supposed to ever tell him he was wrong ? Jims no different

What on earth are you talking about. What has you getting a slap got to do with this incident.
If the sour faced bitch is spouting off about the incident why cant he put people straight on what really happened?

Alluding to it to try and make Jim look bad and then playing the victim when he mentions it is the behaviour of a person that needs help.

Livia 18-01-2014 11:30 AM

Linda did bring it on herself, no good pussy-footing around it. She's been on Jim's back from the moment she arrived. She's so discontented and bitter, she really ought to get some kind of therapy before her sadness eats her alive.

Kizzy 18-01-2014 11:31 AM

What a turnaround from previous threads that suggested jim be judged ONLY on how he is in the house and not for his past misdemeanors?....
Linda is now being judged on what her husband did 20yrs ago.

The awful things that happened in your past relationship are blurring your views, you cannot possibly compare the two situations...

And she got him thrown out of a club as he was going to punch her thieving husband! This was the same incident which Jim mentioned, so that is why he brought it up... Jeez...

She bought it up first you would have to be soft in the head to sit their while someone trys to drag your name through the mud by telling half truths and not do anything about it.

Livia 18-01-2014 11:36 AM

Linda's made it impossible for Jim to leave her alone. She's whined, bitched and moaned for the whole series. She's dragged Jim's past into the equation from day one, now no one's allowed to mention anything about her past? What terrible double standards.

No, she is being judged on how she is (over) reacting to something her thieving husband did 20 years ago, which was brought up in the house...

Feel free to slag Jim off for being a woman beater as soon as you see him hit a woman in house... :xyxwave:

billy123 18-01-2014 11:39 AM

I just found a pile of these in Lindas purse in her dressing room.
