Why did the crowd boo her?
 

I get why Luisa, Jim, Dappy and Lee got booed by why did they boo Liz? She's done a lot more than Ollie and Sam and hasn't been nasty to anyone.

Because the crowd are twats.

Because of her articles

She's a middle aged woman who works for a scummy newspaper.

But she's harmless, the crowd are tossers.

Because it's the crowd. They don't need a reason.

The crowed did an inbetween noise not a cheer or a boo, more a woo IMO.

i lmao the more times they did the call outs. they got weaker and just didnt care as much as it went on to cheer or boo her.

Liz Jones normally writes rather amusing pieces about fashion or her own life, and the pieces about her own life invite a lot of criticisms from people who see that as narcissistic and self-absorbed. A lot of readers don't pick up on Liz's humour, which is a shame, because she's rather clever and witty. She won a prestigious industry award recently, because she ' divides opinion as a good columnist should'.

The most inflammatory article (IMO) was one which criticised Rhianna for being a bad role model for youngsters (citing promo photos of her posing with giant spliffs, displaying a gun tattoo and a gun phone cover, swigging champagne out of a bottle, a birthday cake shaped like a giant marijuana leaf, etc). She also lamented the fact that Rihanna returned to an abusive relationship after being badly beaten up by her boyfriend, thus missing an opportunity to be a positive role model for victims of abuse.

I like her columns generally - they're chatty, self-deprecating and amusing. The Rihanna one seemed a bit harsh, given that she's so young and people like Madonna have been doing similar stuff for years.. but she made some valid points.

It's like when Deana was booed.. ugh it's so frustrating

..I'm surprised that I'm saying this but I did agree with a lot that Carol said last night...the Linda/Jim thing, I do think that they're as bad as each other and have both behaved badly so for me there isn't a 'side' which is right...Liz would actually be quite a good winner I think but it has got to the point where the crowd just boo most people..anyone 'controversial' will get boos..the people they don't get on with get boos...the quieter ones get boos because they're not 'entertaining' enough and then anyone who doesn't fit into any of those things will get boos because they don't fit into any of those things so they must be quite weird and worthy of a few boos..:laugh:...
