..hmmm, I wonder is it to make yourself feel better or to hate yourself more..?...

I am very lazy and lack will power, I wish I could improve on those things.

Also I bit my nails for my whole life and stopped in August, I haven't had any relapses since then, so I am quite proud of that, I had tried to stop many times before and it didn't work.

Not exactly a bad habit and it's kinda silly, but it's something I do that's kinda a waste of time, I double check things I know. Like setting my phone alarm for work. I set it, then after reading when I get into bed, I'll think what if I forgot to set it and I'll check.

I do the same with things like making sure I have my house key. Also I get cross with myself if I give into the temptation to check things more than twice.

..I do all of that exactly the same as well and sometimes I'll say to my OH...nope, I'm not going to check that I locked the door/unplugged the iron or whatever because I know that I've done it but then I find myself 'sneakily' checking almost as if I'm ashamed of myself for not trusting my knowledge that I've done something...

I do exactly the same and if I wake in the night, I check my alarm again...just in case even though I will have checked at least 2 or 3 times

Cracking my knuckles.

And I have no willpower, I've mastered procrastination to a very fine art.

Apple202 19-01-2014 10:33 AM

i do this thing where i think like if this happens (like idk this post getting quoted or not) then something important in my life will happen too

and it's really annoying cos i do it like every five minutes and its just annoying as hell

Checking things a million times before I leave the house... checking that the fridge is shut (by pushing it about 5 times), checking that the taps are switched off, checking that the door itself is closed... etc
