In the mood for dancing

Such a catchy tune, even if you can't stand it or the band you just can't help singing along, even Jim couldn't stop himself in the end. i bet inside he was dying to jump up and have a little dance

Sorry but personally I cringe at it and the vocals are so strained on it too.Everytime I have heard it and it's not very many, the only relief I have felt is when it ends

Ammi 20-01-2014 11:17 AM

..it's the song at a wedding reception that you groan when it comes on and then a few seconds later, you're dancing.....OMG, the truth is out....

I know, I hate it too but I can't help singing along involuntarily after a couple of minutes

:joker: Never ever have I danced to it Ammi. when it comes on at any function I have been to,it sounds so tinny that I have to either go to the toilet or head outside a while until it is done.

The vocals just grate on me for some reason.

Ammi 20-01-2014 11:20 AM

..can someone delete my post please...NO I HATE IT....

You go outside cos you know that if you stay in you won't be able to stop singing along Joey, come on now admit it, there's no shame in it :hehe:

:hugesmile:I will go as far as to say I wouldn't like to be seen singing a line or any of it Niamh.

It is just a song I really don't like at all and as I said, I hate the whole vocals on it too, I think it was sung in too high a key for starters and sounds really strained.

It grinds on me so much, I actually loathe it, it's overplayed, it's annoying.

..haha....actually I agree, it is a rubbish song but I would probably dance anyway just because if there is a beat, the rest of my body doesn't listen to what my head says....
