Who was right in the Cherry Brandy argument?
 

Lets not be biased towards your fave.

Was Jim right to bring up the cherry brandy thing.
Was Linda right to say that Jim had red wine too and that he was picking on her.
Were they both in the wrong?
Are you too scared to hold an opinion?

Linda was being irrational because she's drunk. Jim said nothing to provoke her, she just wanted a fight.

Gonna break the mould and say Linda - Jim did mention it on purpose but I guess people are blinded

She mentioned that she drank some so her then she made it an issue when it wasnt

He never mentioned it on purpose though.

Jim: They even gave us brandy but we never drank any

Goes on to cause an argument blaming everything on Jim!

Yep and it's not like it could just never be mentioned seeing as most of the liquors were still sitting on the tray so the others would have seen them

How was it to make anyone look bad, if anything it was backing Ollie up by saying there was alcohol in the house and they never even drank it.

And you are saying people are blinded?

Ollie made himself look bad for lying about it. I cannot believe the levels people are prepared to go to to blame Jim for everything. Did Jim have something to do with 9/11 or are we waiting for him to survive this next eviction before we get there?

Lets say drinking alcohol was the wrong thing to do

everybody drunk wine, and everybody but one drunk brandy

that one person went on to only mention the brandy

everybody else would then have to openly lie to make themselves look as good as Jim (who attempted to play the loyal hero) or tell the truth to make everyone look equally bad

Jim put them in this position in the hope for brownie points and I'm glad somebody called him out on it.

Linda was more in the wrong (especially in the argument), but Jim wasn't exactly a saint in the entire situation either tbh.

Jim was ,because out of them all Linda was in fact the only person to drink it.

You're conveniently missing out the part where Ollie said they didn't have any alcohol at all before Jim even opened his mouth. Ollie lied and that put the onus on the others to go along with his lie but Jim didn't. Why does Jim saying something make everyone else look bad but Ollie telling a lie is therefore okay? It was such a non-issue anyway until Linda turned it into one, and she only turned it into an issue because Dappy said "thanks Jim"! Jesus...

Jim probably didn't need it bring it up, but Linda turned it into an argument and shouldn't have brought up the wine.
