[Liberal Democrat embarrassment
over sex allegations has deepened
after a veteran MP had his membershi
p of the party suspended.
With civil war in the Lib Dems already
over Lord Rennard, the party was
accused of a second cover-up over
accusations against 67-year-old
Portsmouth South MP Mike Hancock.
Mr Hancock was accused of serious
sexual misconduct towards a woman
who went to see him for help back in 2009.
The MP, who has always denied
acting improperly or unlawfully,
has been sitting as an independent
in the Commons since June last year
but had remained a Lib Dem
councillor in Portsmouth.]

Yes but another Photographer
gave those shots to the police,

Hopefully the police will lose the pics and get on with something a bit more pressing.

Arrest the photographers for loitering.

One of my local MPs, our city is ashamed of his presence. Our local MPs have been very controversial recently!

Oh dear, more awful problems and publicity for the Lib Dems, they have for decades pompously highlighted scandals like these in other main parties as if Lib Dems were all Saints.

Now on top of Lord Rennard,this comes along, it couldn't happen to a more deserving party and all just over a year to the next election too.

I am so sick of spin.

I saw this on the news... the MP's wife drove off, knocking her son down, who then jumped up and attacked a photographer, knocking his camera to the ground. Dignity, eh?
