Help!
 

So a German friend of mine is coming over at the beginning of February, and we are meeting up in London.

She doesn't want to do the tourist-y sightseeing thing (at which I would be an admirable guide), instead she wants to roam around celebrity-spotting.

I haven't got a clue where to go with her for that! I was thinking maybe King's Road or Camden, but she seems to think Hampstead / Notting Hill are prime spotting sites.

Can anyone shed any light on the best place(s) to go?

£100 can get you two tickets to go and see Arsenal, she'll love it.

I'd definitely do that if only it wasn't Monday / Tuesday she's down for :(

King's Road is always good for a bit of celebrity-spotting.

Lol I wish he was being taken into some swanky hotel surrounded by 7-8 guards, there was loads of people surrounding the entrance so we chanced our luck thinking it would be someone quite famous

Think it was the press conference for that thing he did at the north pole/south pole whatever

Harrods is a fancy place to go to and there's always a chance you'll see someone famous in and around there

Yeah, King's Road and Knightsbridge are easily combineable (if that's a word)

Any opinions on Notting Hill? I have pretty much already discarded Hampstead, I know it fairly well and I've never seen anyone famous there :laugh:

I do adore Soho, but to the extent I would probably end up showing her my favourite places rather than sticking to her agenda :P

If you're going Knightsbridge way, Bond Street is quite celebrity-ish. Making up my own words today.
