..isn't there an old law that if someone dies in the House of Commons, then they're entitled to a full state funeral..?...but I think they probably realised how expensive that would be so made it illegal to die there and would be arrested and sent to prison if you did....

I love the ridiculous laws best. Yes, it is illegal to die in the Houses of Parliament. Perhaps that's why they've propped up so many of the dusty old buggers in the Lords... they're dead but no one's letting on.

Did you know it's illegal to push a pram on a footpath.

..is that because if someone isn't clever enough to be able to walk, they shouldn't be there on the pavement..?...

..it's also illegal to hail a taxi if you have the Plague, so that's one to watch out for...

It's because it's an occupied carriage, and pedestrians always have right of way.

I'll remember that next time I have the plague.
