Day 23 task: For whom the bell tolls


Big Brother has set the housemates a two-day task, with sensational rewards but also terrible punishments lined up.

A giant grandfather clock has been positioned in the living area, and this will sporadically ring. When the clock rings, housemates must freeze completely and become human statues. Big Brother will be sending a number of surprises into the House whilst the celebrities are frozen, which they must ignore, in order to win the task. Housemates are only allowed to move again when they hear the second clock toll.

But who will these “surprises” be? Without giving too much away, there’ll be two-legged guests, four-legged guests and maybe even a six-legged guest. But just you wait and see...






12.05pm: So the bell rang, everyone froze and, er, Blue walked in and sang One Love. Lovely stuff
Lee Ryan got a surprise in the Celebrity Big Brother 2014 house today after his Blue bandmates entered.



Antony Costa and Duncan James walked into the house singing one of the group’s classic hits, with Duncan even giving Luisa Zissman a cheeky kiss on the lips.

Sam Faiers also got a surprise when her mum appeared.

But the special appearances were all part of a task today where the remaining Celebrity Big Brother housemates must ignore the obvious

Big Brother has installed a giant grandfather clock in the house and the group freeze whenever they hear the bell toll, no matter what is happening around them.



Big Brother will be sending a number of surprises into the house whilst the celebrities are frozen, which they must ignore in order to win the task.

Housemates are only allowed to move again when they hear the second clock toll.

The task will air on tomorrow night’s highlights show on Channel 5.

I do like these tasks though, but its not like they will be too bothered by ignoring them as they will see them in a few days
Not like normal BB when they appear half way through a long long series etc and theres still a long way to go

1.17pm: TASK UPDATE: The HMs are frozen and Sam has a visitor! And there's not a dry eye in the House. Wonderful scenes

1.19pm: The visitor was Sam's mum! She gave Sam a big hug and also told Ollie what a lovely young man he is. Awww

1.35pm: The HMs are now trying to guess who the next visitor(s) will be and it's all getting a bit emotional in there

3.50pm: TASK UPDATE: Ollie has some guests and one of them is licking his face! And we've got a faceful of tears again. Bless

3.56pm: It was Ollie's mum, sister and dog who came to visit. It was a HUGE struggle, but he passed the test and stayed frozen

I know its the 3rd time they have done the task but it doesn't get old. Last years was probably far more superior though with the *Pause/Rewind task. Dan had me in stitches and Gina when all the sheep came in lol.

How many times have they done this task?
