Cherie 28-01-2014 10:17 AM

Such a long time before she was reported missing.

Could be due to her age

I find it a bit sad that nobody knew her plans ie how she was getting home and who with etc

her poor family :(

MTVN 28-01-2014 04:32 PM

I don't understand how her friends lost her in that ten minute gap of time when all they did was cross the bridge  hope she's found but it isn't looking promising :/

Kate! 28-01-2014 05:08 PM

This is dreadful :( my heart sinks at stuff like this. It's more often than not a terrible outcome.

Ninastar 28-01-2014 05:14 PM

its strange... I have 3 mutual friends with her on FB and i know the two girls on her cover photo...

our town has had a really bad week... a young mum just died in a horrible car accident leaving her 13 month old baby behind. people had to rescue him from the car, otherwise they'd have both died. most of my friends knew who she was. it's so strange.

Z 28-01-2014 05:26 PM

That doesn't sound promising... really hope they find her alive and well but it's not sounding great. On the one hand, how could her friends have lost her and not noticed and then nobody reported her missing for five days? On the other hand, it is so easy to just disappear and do your own thing as a student, it's a bit morbid but I'm forever fretting about the worst happening to me and thinking like "nobody would know I was gone for ages if I went missing right now" if I've just left a friend and walk home... that's really sad

were they drunk?

Z 28-01-2014 06:22 PM

I'd assume so if they were in a bar until 2am but possibly some/all of them weren't drinkers... just so strange to not notice your friend has disappeared in that short a distance and time and to then not raise the alarm for 5 days :/

Josy 28-01-2014 07:02 PM

5 days before any of her friends/family even realised she was missing? that's a long time to notice that IMO.

This part of the article is not good...

Separately, it has emerged that Megan, 20, and a friend were stalked by a 'creepy guy' in a bar a few days before she went missing.
Hope she's found safe.

Yeah same..surely one of them would have realised she was no longer there? D:

Cherie 28-01-2014 07:22 PM

Maybe something happened crossing the bridge, just odd that none of the group that were with her noticed she was no longer there, I suppose if they were all pissed but even so..

Definitely odd that, after reading that part it becomes one of these ones where you are thinking 'hmmm there's something not right'

Hope she's found safe.

It is really worrying isn't it? A girl on my course at uni has been missing since September and her parents didn't file a missing person report or even try to find out where she was until December... mad

Yeah I've got a funny feeling about this too... either somebody's done something very horrible to her or her friends aren't telling the whole truth, just doesn't stack up IMO

What a nightmare, in Leeds you're basically on CCTV at all times in the city centre shame they can't track her movements after the bridge.

Yes that's something that really annoys me, the UK is like the CCTV capital of the world but whenever anything happens it's always the same story, it either never got picked up on the cameras or they were facing the other way etc makes you wonder if it was worth the cash they spent installing them all.
