I love how she can go from America's Sweetheart one minute, but also be dark and sad and angry. She pulls it all off, because she's so genuine in everything she does.

She's not afraid to show many different sides.

She's great.

It's almost a shame how right America got it on that very first series of American Idol because every winner since Kelly Clarkson has sort of paled in significance, I can't think of any American Idol winner who's been as internationally successful as her. What a voice!

The original and definitely the best.

There have been some talented performers over the years, and the cream of the crop has not always won either, but Kelly is in a class of her own.

Favourite song by her is What Doesn't Kill You Makes You Stronger.

Not internationally she's not, she's very much an American artist for Americans, I couldn't name one of her songs. Kelly Clarkson's well known around the world.

This is Kelly Clarkson performing 10 minutes before Beyonce lip-synched at Obama's inauguration and later used the excuse that it was "too cold" to sing live... wasn't too cold for Kelly though :)

She's such a star

I just love that she delivers this stellar performance and then steps away from the microphone and is suddenly this little goofball, so funny :)

The fact she sings like a goddess then has then turns out to be the most adorkable celeb of all time

Carrie is well known internationally, just not in the UK, anyway thats not relevant to the fact that Carrie is the most successful American Idol alumini

Going by album sales, tour sales & revenue, wealth, 6 grammy awards & having 12 US number one's, all in a shorter period

She's a huge country star but country music is only really popular in the USA, as far as I'm aware?

The Addicted Tour had 25 dates
My December 53 dates
All I Ever Wanted had 63 dates
Stronger Tour had 57 dates

not really sure what you can prove from that :conf2: (other than 90% of her tour dates being in the US, proving she is a very local artist)

and the info for kelly dates is only half there only 23 dates of 57 (for the stronger tour) reported their gross, so if you extrapolate the numbers it'd be around 14 million (if not more) for the whole tour :shrug:

I love Kelly as a person and everything she has achieved, but her music is meh for me, bar Because Of You :love:

Most of the American Idol contestants I liked are flops though, so fair play to her <3.
