How childish.

Z 06-02-2014 09:42 AM

Well this trumps the time my brother broke my Xbox because I wouldn't let him play with it.

Jake. 06-02-2014 09:43 AM

It's a thin line between love and hate.

..it is pretty harsh but having your Barbie's head ripped off by your brother, I think still trumps everything...

She was the nasty one?

She gave him a loan of 200k of her life savings so he wouldn't lose the home to his previous (third) wife in the first place.

He still owes the cash whether the home is flattened or not so now he's homeless and still in debt.

yes so 50/50 sale would be better

Vicky. 06-02-2014 11:46 AM

Idiot...

Cherie 06-02-2014 11:56 AM

Why do people who previously cared for each other let things get to this level, there seems to be no suggestion that he didn't want to pay her back as he was prepared to put the house up for public auction, okay she had got "someone" to pay 170,000 for the house and the land but who is to say this "someone" isn't her new love or someone related to her. He did a very stupid thing flattening his house, but she seemed to be pushing for a very cheap sale and you have to wonder why. Both sides end up with alot less then they had before, she can still push for the sale of the land though whilst he will have nothing. Horrible house too much cement and too little glass.

yes she is nasty, she should of let it be sold at auction, and he would of got something back for five years of work, also he brought the first cottage all be it with his previous wife, he never said she could not have her money back,

and what mug would sell the cottage the house and a piece of land for 170 when it was valued at over 300!.

MeMyselfAndI 06-02-2014 12:01 PM

I'm glad he has nothing & will be in major debt :)
She'll at least get the land & any spare money he actually had left

selling cheap to a buyer she found stinks to me as well!

MeMyselfAndI 06-02-2014 12:06 PM

Either way he owes her 200k

she will get most of that back, she was trying to screw him over, serves her right, when he is made bankrupt she will get nothing more.

Tom4784 06-02-2014 12:11 PM

Well I hope she gets her money back in the end. This man seems like an arsehole and I hope he does end up for nothing for being utterly childish.

Bet she will let the land go to public auction now though as if she doesn't she may not get the full sum owed back. Once the land is gone and if he has no further assets he can declare himself bankrupt and she can whistle for it.
