The first batch of celebrities taking part in the Dancing on Ice Final Tour 2014 have been unveiled.

Former winners Ray Quinn, Hayley Tamaddon and Kyran Bracken have all signed up to take part in the eight-city tour, along with comedian Joe Pasquale.

More stars are due to be announced soon, but ticket-holders will also get the chance to see coaches Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean perform special routines created specifically for the tour.

Meanwhile, the celebrities will be judged by Robin Cousins, Karen Barber and Nicky Slater, while the audience will be able to vote for their favourite couples by text message.

The winning duo will take to the ice for a finale performance of Bolero.

"I've had some amazing highlights in my career and winning Dancing on Ice in 2009 is certainly one of the best," Quinn said.

"I am thrilled to be able to continue my time on the ice and be part of the tour. I'm buzzing to be able to put on a great show for fantastic audiences around the country."

Pasquale joked that he is "getting ready to get his skates on again", while Tamaddon said: "Dancing on Ice is a huge part of my life and to be on the final tour is a real honour.

"Having performed on the tour before, I know just how great the arena shows are and the fantastic support you get from the audiences across the UK - see you on the road!"

Meanwhile, Bracken said he is "delighted to be back", explaining: "We've got some great routines lined up for the arena audiences and I can't wait to perform for them again."

Dancing on Ice tour: Gareth Gates, Suzanne Shaw, Beth Tweddle sign up

Quote:

Gareth Gates and Suzanne Shaw have signed up to take part in the Dancing on Ice tour.

The duo - who were eliminated from the show in the past two weeks - have agreed to join the nationwide extravaganza along with Bonnie Langford and Beth Tweddle, who is still in the competition.

They join previously announced contestants Ray Quinn, Hayley Tamaddon, Kyran Bracken and Joe Pasquale for the live shows, which kick off in March.

Shaw said that being part of the tour is the "perfect way to celebrate what has been one of the best experiences of [her] life", while Gates added: "I'm glad I don't have to hang up my skates just yet - I can't wait to get on the tour and skate all around the country!"

Langford claimed that she "had a ball" on her last Dancing on Ice tour, and is "delighted to be able to relive the magic of the TV show in front of arena audiences across the country".

Elsewhere, Tweddle said she wants to continue skating for as long as possible, adding: "Having competed as a gymnast for over 12 years, learning to skate has been a challenge, but one that I've loved and I can't wait to perform some of my favourite routines in front of the live audiences across the country!"

The contestants will be judged by Robin Cousins, Karen Barber and Nicky Slater, with the audience able to text vote for their favourite celebrity.

Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean will also be on hand to perform special routines and their legendary Bolero.
