I love the show but this season has just been terrible, they ruined it by trying to set it across one weekend and taking it out of New York so it's pretty much all just been stupid little mini stories and filler episodes which aren't funny at all and contribute nothing to the actual story

Indeed Matt, i'm on the US pace and the only good episode this season was the

one where it shows the mother's story
...it's been awful since season 5..shame really as the earlier stuff is some of my favourite shows ever

Yeah that one was good, brought together her and Ted's story really well. I quite liked the one before then as well just because of Marshall hitting Lily with some home truths but now they've made up over that already. I didn't really want to find out what Barney's actual job was either, never been a fan of the idea of his hippy past


I'm invested enough now to still be watching every week but I'm just looking forward to it ending really now

I have to agree with matt some of the episodes have been filler and meh

I Been watching on and off US pace, there so had some good moments, Still can't believe it been 8 years!

Don't think How I met your Dad! is going to work, I think it going to another Joey, Spin-offs barely work!

They should of made it about the mother in the years leading up to meeting Ted and how she kept nearly bumping into him instead of squeezing it into one episode
It's a completely different cast isn't it?

It's the beginning of the end. The Pilot episode is on NOW, followed by a special programme hosted by Will Best at 8 and the last episode at 8:30.

awwww, I love himym! I watched the finale a couple of months ago, I loved it! Contrary to popular opinion :laugh:

Going to watch the goodbye thing and the finale back, probably going to cry loads haha
