Mom, sis and sometimes friend, they're the only ones allowed to hug me or I don't mind hugging. Anyway hugs are really nice once in a while. So yea I do like them a lot, they can lift my spirits like nothing else can.

My sons love a hug. It used to be lift up hugs when small now they lift me up instead.:joker:

I like giving hugs and getting them, however obviously only if people are comfortable with it.

..haha, yeah, it's the same for me Cherie..they always lift me up when they hug me and sometimes I even get a pat on the head although I thionk it might be a sympathy one...


..but yeah, I love to hug/be hugged but only by my family and close friends...I don't like physical contact at all when I don't know people too well and sometimes at parties etc, people do that which is one of the reasons that I hate going to them and avoid them...


..also children at school hug/you just can't stop them hugging...

I think sons give the best hugs..and partners of course.

I can hug my son all day long...but the little rascal is getting a bit stingy with them at the moment. I always give me best friend a hug when we are parting company but I have personal space issues. Agree with Ammi - I hate it when random people you don't know pull you in for a hug....shudder.

If it's someone I love, then yes. Otherwise, definitely not. I don't go in for hugging people I hardly know. I also hate it when you meet someone and they feel the need to kiss you. Sometimes on both cheeks like they have delusions of being French or something. A firm handshake is fine, otherwise get out of my personal space.
