Should England have a new National Anthem?
Should England have a new National Anthem? Do you like God Save The Queen or is it time for a change?
What should we have instead? I think it's dated and boring, rather sanctimonious. Need something respectful but with a bit of oomph. Thoughts? |

No

Do you mean England? Welsh and Scots have their own. (Although googling doesn't look like Scotland has one officially)

I love God Save the Queen. No need to change it.

france though you have to be kidding. its awful i do like the germany one but i always feel guilty liking it lol |
England has never had a national anthem. They just use "GSTQ" at sporting events because it's the national anthem of the United Kingdom. Wales or Scotland could use "GSTQ" if they wanted to, but they wisely use their own anthems.
The Rugby team should sing "Swing Low Sweet Chariot" before matches. The football team can have "Vindaloo" as the national anthem at the World Cup. |
Don't mind GSTQ but prefer Jerusalem.

would actually emigrate if that happened, Mock
