He certainly hasn't got to the top of the music industry game without a lot of hard work and it seems Simon Cowell won't be stopping any time soon - the Britain's Got Talent judge plans to continue with his television roles when he becomes a father.

The music mogul walked the red carpet at London's Eventim Apollo in Hammersmith on Tuesday and when asked if he'll cope with being both a judge and a full-time father, he told 3am Online: "I'll manage."

Simon is expecting his first child, due on February 28, with girlfriend Lauren Silverman.

It is thought the tot will be born in New York as Lauren, who has one other child with her ex Andrew Silverman, wants to be near her mother at the time of the birth.

And it wasn't just Simon who had something to say about his impending fatherhood - fellow judge Alesha Dixon, who gave birth to a baby girl last October, is looking forward to seeing Simon take on his new parental duties.

On the music boss becoming a dad, she said: "It's an amazing thing and so life changing."

Meanwhile, the new settled Simon doesn't seem to have changed his ways.

Fellow panelist David Walliams said: "Simon is definitely in good spirits. But he has still not lost his knack for being a really tough judge. It is not like everyone is sailing through because he is in a good mood. He is still harsh."

:joker: "I'll manage", not like he went into the ins and outs of how he would juggle work and fatherhood, talk about a non story.
