Why is the title of this thread "older couple"? They are not old!
|
Why is it a sign of the times? I'm sure this kind of thing will have been going on for decades and decades.
|
Older couple?
Marla Everett, 32, and Matthew Cartwright, 39 Wtf? But eurgh that house is disgusting, not sure jail time is suitable for this though? remove the kids and give the parents some kind of community work but jail seems a bit harsh when there is worse criminals getting away with just community service and fines.. |
How can anyone live like that? :yuk:
|
Ah actually after reading the entire article they probably do deserve the jail, seems they have been done with cruelty too.

OK vicky. |
Those poor lads, Well done the concerned woman who could have saved that lads life. I'm a bit conflicted on the jail time as I would have thought being in foster care would be more traumatic for the boys, especially if they have to be separated.
Detox, close supervision and support might have been more helpful for the family? |
Older ... in their 30s?

Maybe that close supervision could not get funding, |
It would cost more for the court case and to jail 2 people for over a year I would have thought.

And you want to talk about why people are "giving up" hope. Sigh. |
