Think what you want, but Katy Perry actually worked her way into the industry based on pure song writing talent... unlike those others which were all manufactured by producers. Katy Perry may be just as manufactured now, but at least she had a legitimate start in the business based on real musical talent.

Like Lady Gaga she got her break in the business based purely on her song writing ability, not her image or sex appeal or performance ability.

Ohhhhhh, if you are talking about her as a song writer than fair enough, she's a great song writer. She cannot sing better than B though, never gonna happen.
