It's incredibly likely that there is sentient life with us in the Milky Way Galaxy. Unless they have somehow found a way to make faster than light travel without expending huge amounts of resources then i don't think we will see them anytime soon.

Its almost a certainty that other life exists. It would be almost unfathomable to think that with the chemical mix of the universe and size that our random existence is not replicated many times over, probably millions of times.

It's foolish to think we're the only life in the universe, I just hope they stay away. If aliens are anything like us and they have the technology to reach Earth then let's face it they'd have dark designs for it like we would have for their planet in a reversed scenario

I believe that alien life exists, but I'm really not sure whether we'll ever see/meet them. Although most definitely not in our life times unless we're visited.

It's all well and good broadcasting our existence to anything out there that could register it but what are the chances they are going to turn up to a rich, bountiful and habitable planet just to say hello, nice to meet you?

I find it impossible that we are the only life in the universe. I think there is life in our own galaxy but we're never meet them. Our galaxy on its own is colossal and there are billions of galaxies in the universe even bigger than our own. It's foolish to assume there we are alone and like Dezzy said, let's hope they stay away. For aliens to even reach our planet would require technology we certainly don't have and I doubt they will come in peace.

I find it quite ridiculous to think that people have been abducted and that aliens visit earth.

i find rape and murders ridiculous, but they happen... everyday.

just because you don't see it in your life doesn't mean it's not happenening. shocking things are going on in the world all the time, things that you and I are sheltered from and the idea of them seem extreme to us.

Comparing UFOs to rape and murder is beyond lunacy.

not really, i think abductions are a similar crime, and many of them involve some sort of rape.

bear in mind how many people believe in religion and angels and demons and gawd... is believing in UFo's any crazier than that? i'd say it's much less crazy.

And there is proof that rape and murder happens. Aliens visiting earth regularly and nicking off with a few people every now and then to shove an anal prove up their chocolate starfish is still a concept with little credible factuality.

These stories always remind me of that lady that was on this morning who claimed that aliens were with her and would tell her what was in bags and stuff. When Phil Schofield asked her to get the aliens to look in his briefcase she pretended they wouldn't do it. She was a proper full on space cadet, a couple of spanners short of a toolbox.

is there? the vast majority of rape victims don't have proof and never get justice. and aliens are far more sophisticated than humans.

it's not surprising they are able to get away with it considering most humans get away with it. it even shows some level of compassion on their part that they at least try to keep us from remembering it. do they erase memories just so they don't get caught? or because they know how traumatic it is for us? i don't know...

I think there's just such an overwhelming amount of evidence, and there's a lot of crap too, but remember that even if just 1 case out of the thousands is real, that's all it takes to mean everything. out of the thousands of witnesses and cases, if just ONE is real, that means everything.

I think at least one is real.

How many people get proof doesn't come into it, there is proof that rape HAS HAPPENED in the past like there is proof murder HAS HAPPENED. Despite what Professor Dumbledore of the Institute of Nuggetsville says there isn't enough credible evidence to support the idea that alien abductions HAVE HAPPENED.
