Breakfast?

Do you eat Breakfast and what do you have?

MTVN 19-02-2014 07:48 PM

I have it very irregularly, do love a good bacon butty every now and then in the mornings but can't be bothered with doing that every day, normally just stick with a cup of coffee

Ammi 19-02-2014 07:49 PM

..coffee/yoghurt/orange juice...

Jordan. 19-02-2014 07:50 PM

Toast occasionally, nothing extravagant.

Injection, Double sized mug of coffee and a fromage frais, followed by my meds.

Sophiee 19-02-2014 08:07 PM

hardly ever eat in the mornings because I'm never hungry and it also depends what time I'm up. if I do then I just have some fruit.

BigSister 19-02-2014 10:33 PM

yes and its either rice krispies, toast, sometimes a bacon and egg muffin at mc donalds and sometimes when on holiday i have a full english breakfast,

reece(: 19-02-2014 10:36 PM

I only ever eat breakfast when I'm on holiday.

GypsyGoth 19-02-2014 10:46 PM

I love breakfast, if I didn't have it I'd collapse before lunch.

Your body craves nutrients after being asleep for hours, I don't understand the appeal of postponing eating breakfast till the afternoon, you're meant to increase your calorie intake a lot during the day when you miss out on eating in the morning. It seems really unhealthy to me.

Gypsy goth I completely agree I always used to have breakfast when I was younger and most people used to say how can you eat when you have just woken up. But i feel you do need it as it gets you ready for the day

joeysteele 19-02-2014 11:00 PM

Mainly cereal now,I always have breakfast.

Vicky. 19-02-2014 11:00 PM

I'm just rarely hungry in the morning

I dont tend to eat at all til about 4pm or later

Chuck 19-02-2014 11:01 PM

Yes, everyday. Usually I'll have a sandwich of whole wheat bread, avocado instead of mayo and some cheese, a bowl of fruits (today I had one of banana, apple, pear and papaya) with either oat flakes or granola on top of it and a big mug of coffee.

Ross 19-02-2014 11:16 PM

Not a massive fan, before a Brunch.

If I do, probably porridge.

Princess 19-02-2014 11:17 PM

I have it sometimes, usually porridge or some other cereal.

Here's what happens when you don't eat a morning meal: Your body enters into a prolonged fasting state. It starts to believe that you won't be eating any time soon. When you finally eat lunch, your body stores it as fat because it thinks, "I'd better save this for later. I don't know when the next meal will come." That, of course, leads to weight gain. When you break the fast in the morning, on the other hand, your body can use that food to power you through the day.
