Miley's lewd antics have reportedly caused the complaints to flood in
Controversial singer Miley Cyrus's new world tour has been hit with a flood of complaints over her lewd behaviour with outraged parents calling for it to be cancelled.

The American, whose fan base is mainly children and young teenagers, has been seen miming a sex act on a man wearing a Bill Clinton mask and lewdly groping one of her backing dancers while performing in a number of adult outfits.

One costume sees her gyrating on stage in a glittery leotard adorned with cannabis leaves.

Her Bangerz (corr) tour is due in the UK in May with thousands of teenagers expected to attend.

The 21-year-old built her fan base while playing Disney's wholesome Hannah Montana however since leaving the show she has become one of pop's most controversial performers.

Parents aren't said to be totally thrilled with Miley's tour antics
She caused outrage following her performance last year at the MTV Awards after her provocative performance while performing Blurred Lines with Robin Thicke.

According to music blog MusicFix Cyrus's management has been subject to a volley of complaints since she kicked off her tour in Vancouver last Friday.

"Miley's management have been flooded with complaints, mainly from parents, since her tour began last week in Canada with calls for the entire tour to be axed," a source told the website.

"Her team, including management, record label execs and the entire tour staff including the director, costume department and choreographers - have been called for an emergency meeting as arenas across the US threaten to pull out of the show."

One complaint is said to have been made by the mother of a nine-year-old girl. She is reported to have contacted the Wrecking Ball singer's record company Interscope saying she would not subject her child to a 'porn show.'

It comes as America's respected Forbes Magazine suggestion that demand for Miley ticket sales has "softened" pointing to the price of tickets falling since they went on sale.

So many pressed parents, just cos they were too late to get tickets for themselveshttp://i.minus.com/ihiWlYJgpCZnR.png

Unfortunately some parents can't say no to their little darlings, you would have to have lived as a monk not to know that there is a vast difference between how she performed as Hannah Montanta and Miley Cyrus she is 21 not 14 any more, given the controversy around her it was always unlikely Miley's aptly named tour was going to be clean cut, so basically don't take pre teens and if you do don't complain!

Yeah, I have to agree with this as much as I despise Miley, but my 13 year old wouldn't be going anywhere near her concert, luckily my daughter actually has pretty decent taste in music

Miley Cyrus' actions are disgusting and anyone who condones them are evil and are working for Satan. I think it's ridiculous that this tour is being promoted when it is clearly sacrilege and the fact young teenagers will pay money to see her is infuriating. Children should be taught to respect Jesus and not act like wannabe hookers.

They need to give it a 15 rating
then parents can shut up

These parents are nothing else but brainless idiots, Miley, funnily enough, isn't 14 anymore. Any parent who believed that she'd still be rocking to Party In The USA with her dad is a moron

Miley Cyrus isn't even controversial she's just an attention seeker.

Intelligent teenagers will view it as what it is: a show, not an instruction manual. Sheeple teens who will start twerking at school because they saw Miley doing it on stage... well... maybe they should just stay at home. Permanently. I mean, god knows what would happen if they went to the circus :(.

As for pre-teen children, clearly they shouldn't be going to a live music act alone, so... don't take them if you don't want them to see it?

I'd have no problem with my teenagers seeing these shows. I have no problem with my 4 year old watching her. She has constant social commentary from us and so she'll be more than able to put acts like this into context.

Well... I say no problem. I'd be a LITTLE concerned, because Miley's music is pish. I'd be like "are... are you sure? Are you sure you want to pay actual money to listen to this cacophony? Well... ok... on your ears be it...".

Your 4 year old enjoys social commentary and would be able to put Miley's act into context , poor Peppa Pig has no chance then :umm2:
