Smells that trigger a memory
 

Is there a time when you smell something and it triggers a memory of particular event in your life.

I've just caught a whiff of something, I don't know what and it took me back to year 3/4 in school. The smell reminds me of a cows heart we dissected :worry:

Music and smells... I don't think there's anything so evocative as those two things. I remember walking into the hall of my old school when I was about 20. The smell hit me like a hammer and it brought back so many memories I actually cried.

playdough and paint, things like that always remind me of primary school.

don't want to lower the tone / be marc, but this morning i was very hungover and through the process of a shit i discovered (and then remembered) that i had a bit of someone's kebab last night

which is a bit weird (especially since i hate kebabs :yuk:)
