ITV1 is set to steal Emma Willis From channel 5s big brother

ITV is reportedly set to offer Emma Willis a presenting role on This Morning that would force her to quit Celebrity Big Brother.

Emma’s profile has exploded since she was promoted to the face of the Channel 5 show last year, with the BBC giving the 37-year-old her biggest gig to date by hiring her to replace Holly Willoughby on The Voice UK.

However, according to The Sunday People, ITV’s head of daytime Helen Warner will attempt to poach her as she seeks to ‘freshen up’ the broadcaster’s programming.

The newspaper claims Emma would have to leave both Big Brother and The Voice for the new job – even though Willoughby continued to front This Morning while working on the talent contest.

A source at ITV commented: “Emma is hugely *talented and has so much potential to be one of the channel’s most high profile *faces. They have a reputation for having great women and Emma would add to those already there and strengthen their position in the TV industry.”

Emma currently appears on This Morning as one of the hosts of its ‘Hub’ segment. She has also worked with ITV on ill-fated gameshow Prize Island, and ITV2 dating format Girlfriends.

Emma – who also presents a Sunday morning breakfast show on Heart FM with Stephen Mulhern – previously insisted that she’d ‘absolutely’ stay with Big Brother.

She won't leave Big Brother, she's flat-out said that already.

I couldn't see her quitting two successful shows just to become Holly's understudy.

Just like the offers from BBC if she's getting offers from ITV then she cant ignore them. I dont see what she'll host though, holly and Bleakley have got just about everything sown up. I can see her doing a sister show like Xtra factor and I think she'd be better than Caroline Flack but apart from that this just sounds like rumours.

****s sake ITV, Emma is our host, not yours bastards!

If she was offered enough money I wouldn't blame her tbh. BB will only last so much longer before it dries out. She'd be best taking this opportunity while it is there to climb the ladder, as much as would hate to see her leave BB.

At the age of just 25 surely he's too young to present

You aint bloody taking our Emma :fist:

She is seen as a crowd puller now and I would guess that offers will be rolling in.
She is ambitious and although I doubt she would want to leave BB and certainly wouldn't leave it completely, she would be foolish not to take her chances when offered them.

ITV need a general replacement for Bleakley once she swans off with Frankie Lampard to the USA in the summer

Emma works for ITV as well anyway

This is being blown way out of proportion. She will not leave Big Brother! Or be 'forced' to either. It's just pointless rubbish that news sites and the press come out with to grab the attention of readers!

Emma's agent will organise her schedule for her so she can work on all shows if need be. Davina did the same in her hey-day juggling Big Brother and many other shows. Not like Emma cannot do the same!
