Woman experiences racism... what would you do? (video)
 

So I really like this video because it shows how racism works in ALL ways and not just towards one race.

the gay black woman nearly made me cry... I got goosebumps at so many different points in the video

i find things like this fascinating... there are loads of different versions of this.

Also, I have a question for you all... and be honest please! When you read the title of the thread, did you imagine the person who was being abused to be of a different race than white?

ive just watched the one with the white barber and the black guy didnt want him to do his hair

which I dont think is that racist because black people have such different hair to most white people. i dont think its racist to want someone of the same skin colour to do your hair when it can be really difficult to deal with

still, i'm glad most people stuck up for the white barber and said that the other guy was being racist, i love seeing people stick up for each other

That was a really good watch. It was nice to see so many stereotypes smashed in that one video.

Aww wow that was a really good video :love: the last one I watched was about the person in the queue who didn't have enough money, and it was to see who would help out the person.

And yep the moment I read racism in the title I assumed it was a black person being discriminated against.

Anyway I'll check out more of the vids later.

I did think it was a different race to white as I thought it was going to be a video from Fouseytube (does similar videos).

OMG I love these, there's that one of the kid being bullied in the park and the way some adults totally step up to the plate and stick up for the kid is so inspirational :love:

There was a programme on Channel 4 called 'Eye Spy' and it was basically the same as this. Seeing how people across the UK would react to different situations. Stephen Fry was the host, it was actually quite good!

edit: just about finished watching it... omg i feel bad for that older woman because this is something she has been taught to think for about 60 years of her life. its awful to be racist but does she know any better?

Theres loads of vids like these. There was one where they had someone steal a bike from a park to see if anyone would challenge them. The black guy was challenged by absolutely everyone, the white guy was challenged by a few but a few let him go and the pretty white girl got help stealing the bike by a bloke who had his girlfriend with him. :joker:

Its interesting to see how people react to different situations.
