Do you think the house layout will change?
 

Last year we were given the shock of our lives when the house had been completely layed-out differently. Do you think they'll change it again or leave it for another couple of seasons like they did with the first 2 years of C5 BB?

I hope it changes but I reckon it'll remain largely the same sadly.

Most I could see them doing would be perhaps changing the shape of the bedroom a bit and making it a living room/kitchen, adding an extra wall in somewhere in the existing main area and then having the cut-off bit as a new bedroom. I think a couple of walls will move and the rooms purposes will change, but nothing too drastic.

I wish we they'd give us a garden located lounge again a la BB6 and 10.

I'd hope they plan on getting back into the old C4 habit of gutting out the house and creating a new layout.

I'd like to hope so, but it's unlikely they'll put that much effort in to it two years running, especially with Channel 5's future up in the air

I think they should put in a second floor and ditch that grand staircase too.

I'd be okay with leaving the rest of the house layout the same if they got rid of the grand staircase and put back a staircase that is closed off with a door. but that'd probably be too c4 or c5 :(

BB7 effectively did that with the prison/

One thing I don't like about the current layout is the bedroom essentially being in the middle of the house - doesn't seem right. The layout though doesn't need to change for the sake of changing it (C4 were very good at seemingly changing the layout but not actually changing as much as you thought!), but would just like to see the house stripped out completely and them planning it from scratch.

In all honesty the house outgrew the Elstree plot around about BB7/8 once things like secret rooms and the task room became the norm - so they've done well to work with it for the last few years.

Aussie BB are supposedly adding a 2nd storey to their house. Maybe the trend will catch on.

Don't expect to see one here in the UK. The shell at Elstree wouldn't be able to accommodate for a second floor.

Also, the house will be basically done by now.

i can see them making it look like it changed (swapping areas around and stuff) but i can't see them taking down walls and building it again.

The australian "upstairs" will probably be like in canada. It probably won't be cut off it'll be a balcony above the living room with the entrance, the bedroom & a little lounge bit upstairs but it would be like a balcony. Our version can probably do that if we just raise the roof a little bit ;)

There is enough room for a small area upstairs (they had some kind of bar in Celebrity Hijack), so I wouldn't be surprised if the diary room returned downstairs and they used the space upstairs (and beyond) for some kind of Secret Attic as C5 like to rip off the bedsit every year.

I would like if they made the bedroom into a kitchen/dining room like in BB11

They could also put the bedroom up stairs
