should the daily mirror do a campaign to end homelessness ?
should the daily mirror do a campaign to end homelessness ? 27.02.14
2414 is the homeless count but with this i have reservation with the "department for communities" i will mount its worse then the lies on immigration. the jump is a leap infarct it is absurd i don't suppose "back-benchers" will weep shame on the "tories"for pushing homelessness up by a third. we have to enter politics time for brain storming lets have a few words from the critics anger from the cuts is forming. the "tories" can add spin they are clever chaps he did make cruel my skin when waffle come from Grant shapps. not at all shocked his words i filter and dissolve he is a sheep with his eyes blocked does he heck want to solve. bringing in society but not speaking for the majority get off your "high and oh mighty" nothing worse then a deaf authority. Europe flock is undeniable 28% of homelessness are no uk vegetarians but who is actually liable because most tax payers reject the hungry and Bulgarians. its not helped by the shield we can all see something is bent since the 1980 no council home build the rich have most of the properties hence "extortionate rent". would you sign a petition in the 21 century this is a disgrace will a campaign start in the "Daily Mirror" edition give a thought to homelessness please show "grace". ( the current number or percentage on homelessness is 37% but with any government statistic i don't believe it for a second. yes immigration is not helping the matter with 1 - 4 coming from outside the uk but as i point out there has been no housing estates built since the 1980's which leads me to think this is pre-planned so the rich with property's can charge extortionate rent and rake it in. i am going to try and get this to homeless charity's. i will also be sending it to the government who i am sure will read and act on all the points. (funny) but most importantly i want to no what you lot on this forum to add you 10 cents - is there a problem - who is to blame or is this a great myth ? as you may all no by now i love the reply's that can rhyme. would be greatly appreciated. if you want to see what inspired my thoughts you can visit the websitehttp://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/number-rough-sleepers-uk-leaps-3183750 ) |
Identifying words that do and dont rhyme is not really a skill
Its just a bit annoying |

most homeless people have opportunities, they choose not to take them. psychological illness and addiction are usually the main problems in the homeless community, so unless you are willing to lock them up in mental institutions and rehab centers, there's not much you can do. They tried that in the old days, locking people up in institutions and forcing them to get treatment, but it didn't work, it was horrible. We shouldn't go backwards.

It would be nice if the media, not just the Mirror brought to attention the homeless of the UK.
It would make a change from their fanciful and pure invention as to some stories they print. |
I don't know about that, but The Suns headlines today,THAT is shocking!

I was reading lately that there are more than enough empty, unwanted properties (i.e. sitting forgotten for several years, not just currently unoccupied) in Europe to provide a bedroom for every single homeless person in the entire continent. That's quite sickening, if you think about it. There's no need for anyone to not at least have a roof over their head on a rainy night - and yet, people sleep under bridges. It's completely and utterly bonkers.

under the tories do you think things will change - was labor any better ? it just goes on and on.

This is the most ruthless and heartless Govt this Country has likely had since the war. In my opinion,Labour wasn't really much better on this before but I do expect them to be better under Ed Miliband and a more compassionate cabinet of Ministers next time. |
disagree joeysteele - under labor and tony blair - we had top class compassion and the country was well in shape and booming - then come along iraqi followed by a bust that the conservative are blaming labor for - disagree again - we lived with in our mean and what brang labour down was 10p tax row bring in the brown - unforgivable. to punish them we put in the tories - are they for the less well off - think again. the rich get richer and the poor suffer more.
last point - can ed change labor - he needs some radical polices that hit you in the face - but i doubt he will find them. i think that is why people are heading for the mas-sarge - i mean farage (nigel) as at least he is saying what he is going to change. you have to respect that. |

But, people are quick to dismiss him because let's face it... he DOES look like Claymation. I think that says more about the public's (en masse) obsession with appearances, though... what he has to say goes from a boom to a whimper because of his appearance. It shouldn't matter at all - but when it comes to engaging with the sheeple (and unfortunately, there are more sheeple than there are free-thinkers in the world, and so sheeple votes count for everything) it seems to be almost vital. It's very unfortunate. If he looked like a Hollywood actor, and could flash a ****-eating grin for the camera, I think his popularity would be massive. Sign Of The Times... |
