Assassin's Creed Unity - Do not buy, runs terribly

Apparently Assassin's Creed V is set to be revealed pretty soon, word has it that it will be set in 19th Century London. This picture was apparently taken in Ubisoft's offices.

To cement the claims that this is real, here's an image from Ubisoft's HQ during Black Flag's development.

Well if it'd be a move away from the pirate stuff I'm for it. Still haven't finished the last one.

They've spent too much time developing the role of ships for them to just drop it, so I think naval battles are going to be involved for at least the next couple of versions. Especially if it is in London, as England had the most powerful navy at that time, and there will possibly be missions to fend off the French trying to cross the channel.

I hope they go for another Ezio-type character who actually grows and develops with the next couple of games, and not a connor.

I agree, but I hope there is still London in the game, we've not really been in any large powerful cities since Assassin's Creed II, I kinda miss being in the large cities. Edward was quite a good protagonist, but I hope the next one
Spoiler:

becomes an Assassin a bit earlier.

I agree London would be great, especially setting the waypoint on big Ben. Starting off as a Dickensian street urchin, and unknowingly pickpocketing a templar could get the protagonist into danger, and that's how he could get involved with the assassins.

Completely agree about Edward, by the time he became an assassin, you'd already been playing as an assassin for most of the game already. The narrow streets and tall buildings of that Era would be perfectly suited.

There was something in IV that made me thing V would be set in London, can't remember what it was though

Two games apparently one next gen, one last gen (Note, since these are leaked, the game may look incomplete, thats because it is)

The other game could still be the rumoured London one. :elephant:

Those graphics, daaym

Ryan57 21-03-2014 03:41 PM

The actual game will look nothing like that video. Will await the inevitable Ubisoft downgrades.

Scarlett. 21-03-2014 09:38 PM

I dunno, they had to rush out this trailer quickly due to the leak. Apparently it's all in game O_O

Ryan57 21-03-2014 09:44 PM

No way in a million years is that going to be in game. It'll be Watch Dogs all over again.

Ubisoft always do it. That and the fact I'm not sure these consoles could run an open world game looking like that. Even if Ubisoft were to use all the power available. Certainly not this early into the new generation anyway.

Ubisoft 'leaking' these is pretty much confirmed now

Lol, what awful screenshots to release.

Scarlett. 08-06-2014 01:03 AM

Its showing the build up to something

1st pic - Its just a room
2nd pic - Windows smash
3rd pic - A view out of the windows with an Assassin standing in the distance

Ryan57 08-06-2014 01:28 AM

Probably building upto a downgrade.

Scarlett. 09-06-2014 08:42 PM

I hope this doesn't effect the single player mode too much

Smithy 09-06-2014 09:02 PM

omg :amazed:

Scarlett. 09-06-2014 09:08 PM

Looks different from the last few!

Ryan57 11-06-2014 02:12 PM

Was quite impressed by the footage shown at the Xbox conference. There has to be a catch though. Game looks visually impressive and also looks like the controls are tighter. Gonna have to be a problem somewhere knowing Ubi'.
