What the point of the auditions when BB just choose...
 

Semi-Celebs who are recommended by agents or something or are seen in night clubs. I miss when every housemate was a civilian and just normal and where they were in for the money and it was an actual compettion!
Most semi-celebs just come for the publicity etc.

I first noticed it in BB10 where a lot of them had some vague celeb connection. It definitely got worse after that and it's pretty annoying. I think the worst one was the woman who was dating Andy Scott-Lee, she never ****ing shut up about her 'lifestyle'.

It is annoying but there are times when they end up being worthwhile, BB14 had four main people with some sort of agent or z list status (Sallie, Dexter, Hazel and Gina) and they ended up being the best people there. BB13 was similar, we had Deana who was former miss india and Lydia who had the 'famous fiance' but housemate wise they were both brilliant

They can be good housemates but i prefer just normal people with normal lifestyles etc.

This. Look at BB5-BB9.
The non famous connection ones were amazing.

if you put in people that are media aware and prepared to put on a show then they will go out of their way to get attention and be considered as good housemates.

its very telling that not one member on this site has come on to say they got an audition at the two days at Manchester or the two days at London.

They seem to pick 3 or 4 wannabe celeb types but that's to get the media on side. Hazel gets media talking about bb wolfy won't.

I just want good housemates who are unknowns. Not bothered what connections they may have had.
