Breeds Of Dogs

What are the best & worst looking breed of dogs and what dogs do you own?

I want a dog really badly, preferably one of these.

Lakeland terrier.. Although the tail looks like a ginormous dick

I like dogs, I'm more into personality though, doesn't really bother me about breeds and I would never support the puppy trade. Wouldn't want a very tiny dog myself, or one of those that slobber all over the place.

We had a lakeland terrier. Never again..it nearly killed my sister :o

The only dog I would have around kids I think would be a lab

But I am tempted by these

Just because they are so cute and teddy like. Could get the bottom one tomorrow as I know someone who breeds them, but they are yappy nippy little things :bored:

I love Husky's and King Charles Spaniels they are beautiful dogs.

The one I own however is a Staffie and they are the dogs I would only want to own really because I love their personality especially the one I have now.

Yeah this is probably the most important thing. Whenever we've viewed dogs in the past it's always been early on when non have been sold, you get a rough idea which ones stand out with their personalities that way.

Ours came from a working dog family so I guess it should have been expected in a way. though it was trained well and had never shown signs of aggression before...it bit her arm and wouldnt let go, shook her...and bit through the main veins :/

my uncle breeds dogs (well, did, don't know if he still does) and my sister was close to getting this cockapoo off him (but she works alot and my mum doesn't like dogs so she'd never look after it)

I had a Springer Spaniel growing up, she was a beauty

I had a jack russell, wouldn't have a dog now because I'm scared of them

I like pugs and english bulldogs

Christ, i've had dogs try and bite me in the past but they've usually been horrible little staffordshire type ****s. Thought Lakelands would be better than that

I love all breeds tbh

And something that annoys me these days though, all the cross breeds that are given names like a jack russell and a pug = a jug, lab and a poodle = labradoodle and so on just so they can charge hundreds for them when really they were known years ago as plain old mongrels and were mostly given away free.

Have always liked border collies from when we used to visit my Mum's side of the family who are mainly farmers and have always kept a couple at any one time as farm dogs, I like greyhounds as well cos my Grandma used to have a great one

Can like pretty much any dog really as long as it's not too small and yappy or a pug

Vicky. 12-03-2014 11:01 PM

Wonder what my mongrel would be called these days. It was a whippet cross jack russel

jippet?

Whack-el

I was actually going to get a pup last week, a border collie from pets section on gumtree and I text the guy and when he replied he said, oh my mate added my number with a stock image for a joke..

wtf is the point of that, you arsehole

Drew. 12-03-2014 11:03 PM

Last time we got a dog we had to take it back to the farmer because it kept trying to rim my leg and tried eating the cats, we only got half the money back too. Was a cute thing though.
