C5 rapped over Big Brother Hazel, Daley violence

Feck OFF Ofcom

Oh **** off, OFCOM. What a pathetic ruling, and this is only going to mean more sh*t-in-the-freezer esque cover-ups. Give yourselves a round of applause

I forgot that this incident even happened, ofcom are too pressed |
Ofcom :bored: :nono:
|
omg i thought the title said hazel had been raped for a second D:
|
Ofcom are moronic, well done PC Britain.
C5 handled the case the best they could. |
Hopefully Channel 5 still show incidents, but they just put warnings on right before the incident. Then Ofcom or anyone else for that matter can't complain that they weren't warned.
Sounds to me like C5 want to make viewers aware of what's happening in the show at the time, so why not bring back Live Feed? |
They'll show incidents, but they'll be very heavy handed in dealing with them to try and make an example
BB will be thoroughly watered down as if it wasn't enough already |
Not 5 saying that they don't want to mislead viewers with housemates leaving left-right and center
|
I don't understand C5 did nothing wrong..??
hope ofcom die |
So OFCOM would have preferred that C5 buried the whole thing and covered it up? I don't think that would have been fair to Hazel or Daley. They showed the whole incident unedited.
|
What where they supposes to do, just kick Daley out without giving us a reason :umm2:
ofcom are just stupid |
Bit on the Side should have got the rap for not clarifying Daley's actions were unacceptable, I felt the main show took everything into context. Even if they did take a lot out from what was seen on the live feed. Everything was Hazel's fault with that shower of polyester and fags on the side show.
But, even though I hated that, is it really channel 5 or Big Brother's responsibility to treat the viewers like 3 year olds and have to clarify who's right and who's wrong? |
Channel 5 are completely correct in OP
I was over the moon when Daley was removed tbh - he was so ****ing boring it was cray and then it was announced on YouTube via the interview task (Gina vs Hazel) which I found hilarious |
They said that they have a responsibility to broadcast major events in the house, arguing that what happened would have been “impossible” to ignore and that doing so would have compromised Big Brother’s “editorial integrity” and “misled” the audience
-- Unlike freezergate eh...was fine to ignore that even though it was where the majority of bad feelings between housemates came from, and ultimately what lead to a housemate walking out  I think BB handled hazel/daley well tbh. BOTS, not so much so...but everyone knows BOTS is just trash. |

Not that anyone would've noticed if he'd been ejected and we hadn't been told about it... he was boring as hell :joker: |
|
Emma and BOTS should get a rollocking for their sympathetic apologetic simpering when he was ejected imo.
