watching these 2 delightful people after over 50 years of mostly happy marriage , slowly winding their way around englands magnificent canals got me a bit misty eyed

theyre so kind and respectful and patient with each other...so humourous but still with such a lust for life in their eighties

Ive always liked them as actors and comics.....prunella has a little bit of altzeimers now she says she cant remember where she put her lipstick but can recall shakespears sonnets

tonights episode is fantastic , the scenery is epic and the rochdale canal, the pennines, the endless restored mills, the hebdon playhouse, the incredible rocky cave canals which took the workers 17 years to build, these are among the many treats
