Do you often venture in to Serious Debates section?
 

Or avoid it at all costs?

I have a gander now and again

avoid it. I feel like I'm generally too uninformed for most of the topics... then when I occasionally venture in there and see some of the posts I wonder why I don't.

avoid, haven't got time to read 12 pages of essays about topics I don't really care about

I only venture in for News stories.

Quite like SD tbh. Gets tedious having every thread turned into the exact same stuff though.

I'm starting to realise why I steered clear.

It is tiring having every issue turned into a "women aren't important" rant. Goodness knows why such trolls aren't banished.

It's one of my favourite sections of the forum.

And mine :)

To be quite honest, I never know where I am at any given time on here.
Just see a heading and pop on and see what is what.:hugesmile:

Great section

Its a great section and not surprising that so far those that say they dont also like to diss it at the same time to make themselves feel better - ie they feel threatened by it.

If I have an interest in the topic I'll go in, alot of the topics seem to be about British Politics though and I have no interest/no nothing about that

Just had a look over the last month there have only been 3-4 threads relating to British politics that I can see.

The best serious debate threads are the ones that descend into anarchy with a ban or two handed out for good measure. Not seen one of those for a while :think:
