aka Shahbaz's last day



such an uncomfortable episode :( but really compelling tv.. the fact that grown adults, some with children, could behave in such a way. this was the v worst of his bullying
-Sezer throwing his cereal down the sink twice and Lisa the little dog shouting at Shahbaz accusing him of being the one wasting food
-Housemates walking out of the living area when shahbaz enters
-Sezer locking Shahbaz out the house with a belt
-Richard teasing him with the crisps and Sezer suggesting he use he smokey bacon flavour (Shahbaz is a muslim)
-Taking his clothes whilst he's in the pool. Nikki: "hide them it'll hurt him more" vile little girl

I don't understand why BB didn't intervene knowing he was a vulnerable person + on suicide watch

thoughts?? still stand by my judgement he was treated far worse than Shilpa

Scary example of the pack mentality. Humans are sheep.

Having said that, it would've been hell to live with him. Especially as he was so touchy feely.

Edit - It's also ridiculous how half the house strides into the room and sees him making a point with the cereal without seeing the 5 minutes prior to that with SEZER throwing his food away and then lay into him about using the milk. Ridiculous.

Davina didn't even discuss it in any HM eviction interviews

Then Nikki the spiteful bitch telling them that he keeps making cereal and throwing it in the bin.

I notice Lisa's the only one called to the diary room as though you need to be enraged and raising your voice to be considered in anyway breaking the rules when Sezer's entire attitude was threatening and intimidating.

Yeah, the treatment of Shahbaz was shocking (though some of it he did seem to bring on himself at times)

Honestly, Shahbaz and Shilpa..are the only REAL incidents of bulling I think there has ever been on BB.

It's weird that in like 24 hours Dawn went from being Shahbaz's only friend to not standing him either.

So did Shahbaz choose to leave?

It's a bit of a leap from his "catch up" with BB to suddenly "I'm going to miss it" and then BB letting him out the door.

So did he have an offscreen meeting with someone?

Shahbaz was a rude, spoilt, mentally unstable brat. He brought the animosity on himself (although it was a bit extreme at times) - he should have never been allowed on the show.

Davina hates those who leave especially so early on in the show

Shahbaz brought it on himself with hiding the food & stuff, but it was funny to watch :laugh:

And what Pete said Davina said she doesn't like housemates that quit

I don't like pack mentality. No on deserves to be treated like that and no one asks to be bullied. He my have had issues, but the way housemates isolated him was very uncomfortble to watch and i felt sorry for him.

Bit drastic to say she hates them. He had very valid reasons for quitting and should never have been permitted to enter in the first place.

She doesn't like housemates quitting and would prefer they don't get interviews and such as they give up their housemate status is a far cry from hate.

Never realised how uncomfortable this all was.. Lea is up there with Sezer, just the way she speaks to him..

And Sezer's voice reminds me of Dexter's (BB14)

I like rewatching old shows. It's interesting seeing how my thoughts on some housemates change from what I remembered from the original airing.
The biggest one being Saskia from BB6. I remember hating her with a passion but I was ambivalent towards her on my rematch.

But people like Richard and Lea, I never could stand those creatures.

If I ever watched BB7 back I'd skip the first week, I never realised the severity of it at the time because I was too young but I watched some clips back about a year ago and was ****ing appalled, the way they treated him was just disgusting and I think it's awful that people in the gallery were just able to sit there and let it continue. Nikki's comments and attitudes towards the whole thing also tarnished my memories of her.

I don't care what kind of a person he was, nobody deserves to be treated like that. Definitely the worst and one of the only real instances of bullying on BBUK.
