Jo O'Meara was bullied in the past
 

She quoted as saying during her S Club 7 days:

"After four years of bullying hell, I got really depressed and I thought there was no way out. I was really down and I knew I had to do something about it. I took the pills at school in front of the bullies. I wanted to show them what they were making me do to myself - to let them see how wrong they were. But they just tried to put the pills down my throat themselves - they tried to help me. I had to go to hospital and get my stomach pumped. In a way it was my cry for help because I couldn't see any way out."

But isn't it weird that she became a bully herself in the end in Big Brother?

She was probably the lesser of evils that series in that group, still not great, but Danielle was an uber-kuhnt and got away with it all, as did Jack really, it was Jade & Jo that took all the flack.

Yup, pretty much. Danielle and Jack loaded the gun and let Jade pull the trigger, with Jo paying for it after as well

The only reason Danielle Lloyd got away with it is because she's a pretty girl. Jo O'Meara unfortunately is not a pretty girl and so got blasted because she was the lead singer of a supposedly clean cut teeny bopper band and what happened in CBB went totally against the public's perception of her.

Jade did mainly nothing at all I will always feel sorry for her and I've been watching BB3 and Jade is amazing and funny

It was the stupid slut Danielle who did about 90% of it

Yeah I do think that's true, Danielle is/was famous for her looks and Lads Mags won't be losing sleep over what her personal views are, nor will most of their readers

With Jade and Jo though their personalities matter to their image and their celebrity status, especially with Jade when that's what made her famous in the first place. CBB exposed both of them as at best bullies, at worst racists.

That's a good watch, I wouldn't say it proves that Jade "did nothing" in CBB but yeah, he was pretty spot on about the media, Danielle etc

Jade treated Shilpa horribly and deserved the reaction she got. She was the ringleader of that bitch coven and she could have put a stop to it whenever she chose to because she had influence over the other two but she started it and very actively kept it going.
Some of the ugliest behaviour i've ever seen on a reality TV show!

Jo came of undeservably badly from that CBB,
She didn't really do anything.
That's why I didn't like her as a housemate cause she was boring as hell.
But she only really laughed along. Would not consider her racist or a bully. She was just trying to join in with the bullies. Which i'm sure we're all guilty of at some point.

She was like the last person to join the school mean girls gang, the one who hangs around with them because nobody else will have her.

She sat there giggling and finding great amusement in the fact that the pretty girl was being picked on. I thought both Jade and Danielle were probably worse than she was but i think it's just because those two were more confident and bold and therefore were more comfortable with doing it.
Doesn't make Jo any less deserving of the criticism she received.:nono:

I wouldn't say nothing at all but it was cringeworthy watching her launch into a tirade after Danielle had got her worked up about Shilpa, but Jade was a bit too dim to realise what was happening and didn't actually understand half of what she was spewing.

Yeah, when I think of Jo in CBB I picture her sat in a dressing gown. :laugh:
