I can't get drunk
 

Idk why, but whenever i drink the furthest i ever get is tipsy, like tonight, i've had

2 x double vodka coke
2 x triple vodka coke
2 x double sourz lemonade
1 x strongbow
1 x strongbow & blackcurrant

in the space of about 3 hours

usually i drink more than this and have a few shots, but i've never been more than tipsy and idk why, normally when people drink the amount I do, they get rat arsed, and can't remember anything the next morning, but i've never had a hangover and i've always been able to remember everything that's happened the night before, what's wrong with me :worry: it's not like i even drink often and build up a resistance to alcohol cause i drink drink like twice a month, and I'm like a beanpole so you'd think it'd effect me a lot easier than other people

oh and i'll just add, normally when people are drunk they seem to lose all inhibition, but i'm completely aware of everything that's happening around me at all times, just like when I'm sober :worry:

Try different types of alcohol?

Wine, even though it has a smaller alcohol %, seems to get me drunk very quick.

I hate the taste of other alcohols though, like the taste of wine actually makes me feel ill and normally in clubs i go to they only do spirits and other alcohols are like 200x more expensive than they should be, so no ty

And yepp I know, but you can prink on something else then switch to vodka/shots in the clubs.

Thats if you want to get drunk. If you enjoy your night regardless I wouldnt worry about it :tongue:

I had a hip flask and i keep sneaking it into places and pouring like twice the amount of vodka they give me into my glass mwhahahaha

Wow..I'd be gone from the top two choices. All I can suggest is heavier and quicker drinks..

You are drinking girls drinks and if those are pub measures no wonder you are not drunk.

doubles suck if you buy a bottle and pour your own it would be like having 10 doubles in one on average. per glass.
i always feel cheated if i get spirits in pubs.

get a bottle have some then go out. and stay of the low % cider and watered down spirits lol your soon be dancing naked on the pool table singing britney songs and waving your tackle about like mad snake charmer lol

If you buy a half bottle of whisky and drink that in 3 hours I guarantee you will be drunk. But dont do that. What you are actually drinking in the above list is actually not much over 3 hours. Stop wasting money on shorts where you are getting only at best 1/5 of a gill and stick to premium lager or cider (and not cider and black currant ffs).

God knows what your teeth must be like with all that sugar.

My advice would be try a few nights out not drinking and see if you cant enjoy that, you may not need alcohol - most of the "good times on alcohol" stories are perpetuated by Marketing departments anyway.

Same here. I can drink a ridiculous amount of most spirits before I even feel it. But one or two glasses of wine and I am gone totally :laugh:

getting drunk is for weak people who can't handle their problems, real men only drink to look cool
