D: can strong antibiotics make you feel high? Cos I'm on some and I feel blitzed tbqh. I have to take one three times a day for 7 days, this is day 2 and felt alright yesterday but today I'm well away! :eek:

Are they dental ones Kate. I think they are a bit stronger than regular antibiotics....last time I needed some from the dentist he told me definitely not to drink as they would make me really ill but the doctors just advise note to drink...they shouldn't make you feel out of it though....

Yes Annie - metrodinazole they are called, deffo can't drink with these, and I've given drinking up anyway. I think maybe I've taken them too close together.

Were they in green plastic packaging and tasted horrible?

Have you taken them with food? You should always have something to eat with antibiotics too or they absorb too quickly I think....

its funny people say dont drink with antibiotics , you can , its only cause they wont work as well. but its harmless, only a few can be a problem. most makes no difference.

if it sort term then carry on taking them as the infection will hopefully clear up there say the nicer thing taste the bader there are for you so as this does not seem to taste nice it must be good for you Dr 21 has spoken
