Vodafone Creates 1,400 Jobs With 150 Stores
 
Vodafone has confirmed plans to open 150 new stores this year, creating 1,400 UK jobs.

The company said the £100m expansion was part of its previously announced £1bn investment commitment to the UK market.

Don't be silly, why would anyone want to make something so petty as money when they could achieve an HND in "Portable Communication Device Retail Proficiency"? AND still earn £2.16 an hour. Some people are just greedy.

I wonder if they are real jobs, real full time jobs.. not part time or zero hours contracts which are the biggest employment scam going.

The most likely scenario is 3 full time managerial positions per shop (one shop manager, two duty managers) alongside X number of part time (16 to 25 hour) flunkies, numbers depending on shop size and staffing levels.

Entry level positions on full time hours basically don't exist any more.

Isn't everything? They've quite masterfully created the illusion of economic recovery by promoting a massive recovery in London to fiddle the figures, whereas most cities are still decaying. Not really a recovery that matters much if it's just one city...

no wonder they get so much smog, floods, over congestion, theyre too greedy for their own good, spread the wealth
