norman is no good if your second name is bates.

never understood why parents name their kids boring average names or bad names,
mine is good but its a pain in the ass i must admit

anything is better than some of the celeb kids names though.

My dad's friend is called Norman and my best friend's dad is called Norman as well. Definitely a name that belongs to a certain generation. Names come and go out of fashion all the time.

I know a guy called Norman Hat (Norrie Hat he gets called)

Cherie 05-04-2014 11:38 AM

Some old fashioned names have made a comeback

Lily, Emily, Florence, Rose, Alf, Ronald (Ronnie) so you never know it is a generational thing.

Is all it will take is somebody famous to name their child Hilda or Norman for them to come back into fashion.
