Song videos that have been banned

Sometimes song vides have been banned from TV for whatever reasons (sometime really silly ones). What ones can you thin k of?

Smack My Bitch Up - The Prodigy - Graphic, sexual and violent content (God love this video though ) [1997]

Viorar Vel Til Loftarasa - Sigur Ros - Homosexuality [2002]

(s)AINT - Marilyn Manson - Self mutilation, bondage, drug use [2003]

Call On Me - Eric Prydz -Scenes of a sexual nature :bored: [2003]

Don't even care.
(s)AINT is one of my all-time favourite songs.

Justin Timberlake - Tunnel Vision for the naked women
that song was SO mistreated. It was by far the best track off the album but the video was explicit meaning it couldn't get airplay on music channels, it wasn't promoted and he released the lead single from his next album just weeks later :umm2:

It's not windowlicker, it's Come to Daddy.
Aphex twin

Edit: Oh wait windowlicker was the weird one with the sex and aphex twins face on all of them. I think it was indeed banned.

Ramsay 05-04-2014 07:37 PM

Ah yeah they both ****ed up

Tatu- A Simple Motion

Banned as it featured Yulia masturbating in a bathtub and having multiple orgasms. This is the censored version, and only has her facial expressions whilst she is masturbating.

Call on Me is godawful, it's a looped sample of an old Steve Winwood track which uses it's video to disguise just how lazily produced it is. I'm not a prude by any means but I hate music that have to rely on overt and blatant sexualisation to sell and hide it's shortcomings.

Getting back on track there are two that come to mind:

Paco's version of Puttin' On The Ritz was censored due to the inclusion of people clad in blackface:

and the infamous 'night version' of Duran Duran's Girls on Film which became the first video ever to be banned from MTV:
