A Song of Ice and Fire

Couldn't see a thread on this
I'm reading A Clash of Kings at the moment and enjoying it, who has read/is reading?
Which was your favourite book?

Niamh. 09-04-2014 03:47 PM

I'm all up to date with the books and anxiously awaiting the next installment but he's so bloody slooooooooooooooooow

My favourite was the 3rd book A Storm of Sowrds

Locke. 09-04-2014 06:02 PM

A Storm of Swords is the best but I think I enjoyed A Dance With Dragons just as much. They are all good though, even A Feast for Crows, despite being really slow paced.

Nearly finished with A Clash of Kings now, does season 2 have much stuff from A Storm of Swords?

Apple202 22-04-2014 11:06 PM

i just bought them last week, getting through the first one now but i may have accidentally searched all the plot points for it already

I've decided to start reading the books again. last time i tried i got halfway through Book 1

Natalie. 08-05-2014 05:12 PM

How long did it take you to read all of these?

Marsh. 24-05-2014 09:14 PM

Which is better, the TV show or the books?

Stu 24-05-2014 09:33 PM

Is it worth reading if I'm up to date on the show? Ordinarily I hate reading something with the characters pictures already drawn in my head but everyone here watches it all the time so I had to relent and follow it before I had a chance to read the books.

Not massive on fantasy either. Do the books stink of a tarted up EastEnders with swords and tits too, or was that a TV add on?

Josy 24-05-2014 11:46 PM

Definitely worth a read Stu

Marsh. 24-05-2014 11:49 PM

The TV show is a tarted up EastEnders with tits and swords? :umm2:

I don't think I will watch it.

Smithy 24-05-2014 11:52 PM

no it isn't, ignore that fool :fist:
