Do you ever read the OP of a thread before replying?

Not always, sometimes the title is enough to just enter and reply.

Most of the time. Sometimes not.

Not if its paragraphs worth of writing.

I read the OP and then make my post, and then I read the other follow up posts to the OP afterwards.

i usually just read the thread title and respond without reading the Op or any other posts

Yeah I'm guilty of this and then once I have posted my reply I read through ad see that someone has posted the same thing

I try to read every post of a thread (unless there's been 5+ pages of the chat threads) before I post so I don't duplicate what someone else has said.

Most of the time; sometimes the title is self explanatory or it's a poll thread or something. What I don't tend to do is re-read the OP, so like if it's a game thread or something and the OP's constantly being updated I don't generally tend to look back at it because it's not something I would think to do myself. I've been criticised for not updating my own OPs sometimes whenever I've been running anything.

I have too much spare time on my hands..I tend to read the lot.
